It’s like a dream! Thanks my friend. Your adventures really inspire. Love of the wilds
Ah thanks mate! Glad you enjoy them 😎👍
Thoroughly enjoyed that a nice flowing road and a pisser camping spot thanks for that another sre to skope out cheers
Cheers John, there's some great camping along Rocky River Road for sure 👍
Inspirational camp spot....
Top Camp spot!
Awesome video mate, looked like you found the perfect spot to camp. I know what you mean about crowds. Castle Rock camp ground can get pretty busy. Every time I go to Girraween I'm always blown away by the landscape and rock formations, shaped over thousands of years by lichen of all things. Looking forward to your next instalment. ATB Jason 👍
Cheers Jason! Yeah, way too crowded out there for me. Would like to spend around 3 nights there, so much to see. Beautiful spot for sure 👍 I'm no geologist, so pretty cool that lichen shapes the stones. I did know they were pushed up from the ground, rather than eroded by the elements. Cheers mate 🍻
What a camp-site! Another great video.
Thanks Chris 😎👍
Beautiful locations great camera work, feel like I'm watching the David Attenborough of motorcycling.
Glad you enjoyed it Jas! And cheers for the positive feedback mate 🙏
G'day Phil.
I've starting watching your video blogs and I'm really enjoying coming along for the ride.
That's spot looks pretty magic.
I'm on the verge of starting my own adventures too.
Living in Newey and growing up in Coffs, I'm really enjoying talking it all in and getting some ideas for myself.
Your pace is much the same as mine which makes it all the more enjoyable to follow your journey and think, yeah, I'm going to check that ride out myself.
Cheers
Darcy
Cheers Darcy, glad you're enjoying them mate 👍. Some great country to explore down your way, plenty of places tp check out 😎 Cheers mate 🍻
My God Phil - you have a knack for finding the most awesome camping spots!!
I't just beautiful country there, and yeah, very popular. We spent Xmas 2023 there, arrived Xmas Eve, had 3 days with the whole of the Kambuwal Campground to ourselves, left the day after Boxing day as the place filled up with groups who had booked fighting with groups who hadn't - humans at their worst.
The walks are just great too - glad to see you got to sample a few of them :)
Thanks David! Would love to spend more time out there, lots to see (as you know) and i want to redeem myself and climb the Pyramid...lol Yep, waaaay too crowded for me, was surprised really at how many people there. Ps- Enjoy your video to the biggest tree in NSW. I'll add it to my list, cheers mate 👍
Great vid awesome camping spot you looked very comfortable sitting by the fire with a massive bolder above you 😂 cheers Phil thanks 👍👍
😂 I was very cozy under there, Johnny, and can tell you it didn't fall 👍
Oh yeah that campsite looked way better than seeing other people! Can’t for the return trip 😃
Fantastic have always wanted to go out that way, great filming Phil.
Ah thanks Gumby 😎👍 Bloody nice out there, 3 nights would have you seeing way more than I did 👍
Ripper mate!! Another area I’m yet to explore🥾
What a bloody nice little camp spot loved it,l!! Bugger about the storm but at least you had the essentials in the tent with ya😂
Cheers mate keep em coming!
Ah thanks Sam! Mate it was a great 3 days escape, some amazing country out there - needed to stay out there longer 😩. Catch ya mate 🍻
Luv ya vids mate, hoop pine's by the look of it, yep plantation
Thanks Richard! Yeah, they seemed out of place, but cool looking trees, Cheers 🍻
Cracking good camp spot
what a place to ride a trials bike.....great camp site.....thanks for taking me along. Garth
That camp spot was a top find Phil. I could spend a couple of days there easily.
It's a great area up around there isn't it.
Was a way better option than the tourist park, Coobye. Yeah, needed 3 nights there I reckon. Next time 👍
I love Girraween, have climbed the Pyramid many times. Don't tackle the face, you need to follow the white dots to the left. I hate heights as well, but have managed to keep that in check for the views. The walk out to the junction is really nice. Great video. Looking forward to part two.
Cheers Bogor. started climbing the dotted path, but lost my nerve 20 meters up. Didn't help I was first there, and the rocks were wet. But one day I'll go back and climb it 😎👍
Awesome Phil. My old stomping grounds.
Ah cool, Hammy! Beautiful up there. Wish I had more time there. I'll be back 😎👍
Another great vid Phil. Very enjoyable.
How are the 605's going? How do you find them on bitumen compared too the stock tyres.
Hi Peter, they're great on and off road - better than the stock IRC's for both. Probably a bit softer compound, so may wear a tad quicker. But they're good things 👍
Another great video Phil - what editing software do u use?
Ah thanks Richard 👍 Been using the free version of Hitfilm Express.
@@MidCoastAdventures Thanks Phil, will check it out - very new to filming/editing etc..got about 10 hrs of Vic high country footage from Jan that i want to edit down to 20 mins or so
15:38 I'd be bloody moving that tent incase lightning hits that rock mate. ⚡⛈️⚡⛈️🌩️⛈️⚡ 👋🤠👍
Beautiful rocky landscapes. In previous videos I saw you on a DR650, in some chapter do you explain the reason for the change? Greetings from Chile
Some great rocky country out there to explore for sure 👍 Ah, the old DR. Great bike but wanted a new, lighter rig, so went the Rally. I'll probably get a CRF 450 next. Cheers 🍻
@@MidCoastAdventures muy amable por responder, mucha suerte y sigo disfrutando tus videos, saludos¡
Ha! Those drive-by’s are so time consuming for a few seconds of viewing.
Good to watch but a pain to film.
Yep! But they look good hey, and add to the story 👍
19:20 looks like lightning already hit a few trees mate 👋🤠👍
Bush fires. Happen a lot.
Picnic at overhanging rock😂
😂😂
Mate, I understand that the camp grounds where crowded, but, your in a National Park, which means that you can not just set up camp wherever you please. Also there's big fines if the Rangers catch you camping outside of designated camping areas.
I went outside the NP, so all good 👍
I was just wondering if you are u running heavy-duty tubes or just standard? Great vid!
Hi Alex, just standard tubes. Will go heavy duty when relacing them 👍
@MidCoastAdventures Thanks mate! Asked cause changing tyre on Friday. Front. Changed rear few weeks ago. Went standard because of extreme heat in Darwin. Less heat on the front, so will go heavy . D 605. c how they go in Kimberley. All the best mate!
Great video as always …the rally is one versatile bike …and easy to pick up…which is probably the most important thing for solo bush adventurers .Looking forward to the Girraween to Coffs leg.
@@orionswitness Cheer mate, and you are correct, fun little bikes- and if you can't pick it up, it's next to useless. 👍
4:24 2 Nd time through this creek ye
THE 3hunggie is a good old jigga forthe Aussie bush
It's all that's needed for most folks 👍
