Great video as always Dr Bret. For boys entering or in puberty it may also be worth pointing out that there are very fine filmy adhesions (very fine bridges of tissue which keep the foreskin attached to the glans). These are completely normal and nothing to worry about. Erections and pubertal development will usually lead to these gradually dissolving naturally allowing the foreskin to be retracted progressively further. In the bath or shower can be a good time to gently coax the foreskin back, but it should not be painful, if it is then go more slowly over weeks or months or many months. Masturbation is also a very natural way to encourage the foreskin to progressively retract. There may be some final filmy adhesions that attach around the coronal ridge of the glans (where the glans flares out - farthest from the tip of the penis). These very fine attachments are usually the last to dissolve naturally at which point you will be able to fully retract your foreskin, fully exposing your glans penis. Always remember to pull your foreskin forwards again to cover and protect your glans and most importantly to avoid para-phimosis as Dr Bret advised. I am a UK medical doctor and therefore I am qualified to give this general advice.
Thank you, and thank you for your comment, I've pinned it as I think this will be extremely helpful. Thank you for your time contributing. Best wishes Dr Bret Palmer
@@DrBretPalmer Thank you. I'm pleased you felt this would be helpful. hey doc i managed to softened the smegma and is now easily removable but i found it infected my glans (swollen and discoloration) i want to know if i should remove it or not i don't want to make it worse
Allow the glands to rest. Be gentle, don't use soap and keep foreskin retracted for longer periods, don't fall asleep with the foreskin retracted. Don't "pick" smegma off. Should start to return to normal. If looks infected then see a doctor/nurse ASAP.
Sir please tell how to do the stretching i.e. how many times in one session and for how much seconds one hold should be and how to correctly access the phimotic band . 🙏🙏🙏
Hi doc, im 29 and I have never seen my glans till now from my childhood. I am not able to pull my skin back. Is there any way to naturally cure it without circumcision? I dont have any problem till now related to foreskin apart from not able to pullback. Please suggest how to cure it. Thanks!
Hey man! I’m using something called Phimostop and I started with a 6mm opening (almost pinhole phimosis) and I’m now at a 30mm opening and I’ve been using it for just under 2 months. It’s a set of 22 silicone tuboids and I’ve had each one of them in for 5 days before going up in size. Hope this helps
Wasn't aware that so many had such problems. I can now understand why circumcision is so common, though I don't approve of it except when necessary or voluntary. When I was born, my father (bless him) would not permit a circumcision, so my pediatrician retracted and clamped my foreskin (not sure just when). My mother said I screamed. I don't know whether this was the cause, but I've never had any problem with my foreskin.
Hi Doctor! Very nice and informative video. In my case I'm kind of in the middle of the situation because when my penis is flaccid I can retract the foreskin very very easily I mostly do it when I'm taking a shower, to clean the glans and only sometimes when peeing as well to have a better pee stream. But when erect the foreskin gets pretty tight not allowing the glans to be released naturally (I have to do it myself) At the beginning it wasn't an issue when having sexual intercourse but in the latter years it seems to be getting tighter because it forms the ring around the glans and although I didn't have to run to ER to get it placed back to its normal position, what it causes me is a lost of sensitivity (meaning less pleasure) and pain or a burning sensation even after finishing having intercourse (well, now I'm single and haven't had sex for about almost a year now 😖😖) I don't like the idea of getting circumcised, do you think that those stretching exercises might help? Is it possible to get some good results even at my age? (I'm on my late 30s) Thanks in advance for your reply. I wish I could have done this consultation privately but I didn't find any other social media accounts from you. Greetings from Buenos Aires Argentina. Thanks!
Hi there. I have an Instagram account but don't check it often. Yes stretching may help. If you had ear plugs this would stretch your earlobes so stretching the foreskin should be possible. Stretch slowly, don't over do it. Must stop if you get sore. Let me know how you get on.
I am a retired medical doctor in the UK. It seems that Dr Bret has not managed to reply, no doubt due to his busy schedule. I think it would be a good idea for you to see a doctor, explain your problem and ask for the doctor to prescribe some steroid cream as you have learned that along with stretching exercises this can be helpful. There are several doctors on TH-cam who discuss this. You can also search it on google. You need quite a potent steroid cream which works by helping to soften the elastic fibres in the foreskin alongside stretching exercises. Masturbation in which you move the foreskin from fully retracted behind the glans to fully pulled forwards is probably one of the best exercises and of course it is a natural form of penile exercise, just as walking is a natural leg exercise. I would suggest a course of treatment with the steroid cream usually for 4 - 6 weeks maximum, although this could be repeated if your doctor assesses it to be appropriate. I think it is still possible to get good results in your late 30s. Your skin generally will still be very supple and you are still relatively young. I hope this may bee helpful to you. Best wishes from the UK 🇬🇧 to your beautiful city of Buenos Aries, Argentina 🇦🇷
Those 4 and even more within them reversed my aging.. and just keeps me going on!!! Just yesterday I had some slight flu symptoms.. so off I took one Nac, Gluthathuone, Glutamate, Milk Thistle, C-witamin and somer other ingrediants in the same product only to wake up as healthy as ever..

The suggestion is in the video with careful stretching.
