    I stumbled upon your channel today and I have to say it is one of the most concise I have seen when it comes to talking about outdoor equipment!

      i try to make it less fluff and more just real world.

    Got just a plain ol Thermite Versipack....used it for both my concealed carry and accessories, and first aid/trauma pack....excellent for both!

    Really cool! I got a smaller pack some what like that, it came with the pathfinder canteen set. This pack would be even better for carrying that stuff. I have the ENO double nest hammock too. I use an iso mat and an aluminum windshield shade under my sleeping bag and stay snug as bug! Thanks for the video.

    Well done! I just picked up this versapack and am using it for my SUV EDC. Great Maxpedition quality as usual. Subscribed!

    I have a few Maxpedition products. Including the Gearslinger Kodiak. Right now I am torn between the Jumbo and the Mango as my EDC. The Kodiak is a great bag but it's overkill for my EDC needs.

    I bought one last week during their clearance sale, should be here today. This pack will be the 7th item I have owned from Maxpedition, they are that good.

    Thanks for the video, now I'm going to grab Maxpedition Versipack, and a bunch of things to stuff into it.

    I put an fr1 pouch in the main compartment of mine to keep things organized and my leatherman surge also next to it. It takes up a lot of space but it still leaves room for food and stuff still. I really love it, but I'm not sure about the water resistance, I've seen a couple videos and water just leaked through everything.

      mightaymouse yeah, 500d and 1000d are not waterproof.

    You do excellent videos - concise, articulate, nothing crazy.
    Keep up the good work. BTW, what about food for your bag?

      @livingsurvival  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      In this one maybe some cliff bars or something. In the bug out bag video I have meals.

    Great vid! I have one that I got about 7 years ago and I only use it a couple times. I just took it out again today and decided to start carrying it again as I am tired of having full pockets everywhere I go. I have noticed that some things have changed when comparing my Jumbo to yours. It seems they have made some changes over the past couple years.

    Good video. Thank you. I am right handed but I would buy the lefty pack like yours because I wouldn't want it to interfere with primary hand tasks.

    Your Amazon link seems wrong. You got S type which is left handed.But the link you shared for right hands. Can you share the right link please

  • @presterjohn71
    @presterjohn71 9 ปีที่แล้ว

    I'm glad I watched this one. I am right handed but always keep my bags on my left side which to be honest thought was normal as the left hand holds the bag open well the right hand grabs the contents required). I now realize I need a left hand S bag!

    What kind of stove was that you briefly flashed by the camera? And do you think you could get a rain jacket inside the main compartment? Like a north face hyvent shell?

      Check out your army surplus store I get these for about 25 bucks...its not maxpidition but I didn't need the build quality. I use one of them as a range bag for my pistols another for a snare and trap bag for when I'm hunting trails also one I keep in the truck with other goodies in it.

    So what is the reason for carrying a bag like that are you that worried about being stranded somewhere that you wont have cell service or is this for hiking if so why do yoi call it everyday carry pack??

  • @_jovian
    @_jovian 10 ปีที่แล้ว

    Wouldnt a right hand pack be better if you are carrying left hand IWB? Does this pack impede your ability to draw at all?

    • @livingsurvival
      @livingsurvival  10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nick Nutcore It would be yes. I noticed if you get it heavy enough it can swing over and have since switched to another sling that has a side strap.

    I purchased this E.D.C. bag for... well, E.D.C. However, first time I tried it as a range bag, I never looked back. I love this bag! Best range bag I have ever had. I love how guys come in and have to use the floor for all their stuff. Not me! Now I'm thinking about the Mongo.

    • @livingsurvival
