Southerly 115 Review, Is she the Best of both worlds?

During this viewing we were kindly given free range by the vendor to explore every nook and cranny of this Southerly 115 with no time constraints and no brokers looking over our shoulders, as a result we can really get to grips with this Southerly 115 so join us as we explore this great looking boat and find out why they seem to hold their value.
As followers will know we are currently looking at upsizing and its a mission that we promised to share every step of the way. Perhaps you to are thinking about a boat change yourself or perhaps you have seen some of the earlier Southerly range and wondered 'What are they like inside'? We have been targeting boat at 30k and below as a guide price but have also been to see some that are asking more than the budget so we can see if its the sort of boat we like and can keep an eye on the market in case something comes up closer to budget. While its mentioned in the vid, just to confirm this Southerly 115 was on the Market initially privately when we went to view her but later it went on the market through a broker and was advertised at £30k or $38.7k, So on budget but are we buying work?

January 2025 UPDATE
By Way of update since our viewing of Pete's Dragon she sold and the new owner kindly dropped us a line to update us and bring us news of all the work he has undertaken. She is now renamed Dragon and after carrying out extensive work in Milford Haven the New owner with the mast unstepped motored the boat to Portishead on the Bristol Channel before making his way up the Avon Canal where she now lives while he continues the repair and referb work. We wish him the very best of luck in what is sure to be a great venture and we are sure the fruits of his labours will be a wonderful boat that will take him anywhere.
