    Love the idea of the Gadd9/B as a way of getting to C. And the inversion makes it such a seamless transition with very little movement.

I'm having a hard time with it and if there are exercises to do to matter it, please help and please clarify the difference between a fill and a run and if possible how to do runs as well. I live in France and I'm proof that people, even in first world countries, can't automatically afford piano lessons, let alone a piano at all...

    The E minor scale is relative to the G major scale right? So, does the song decide the passing chords? I know I`ve asked this question before, sorry `bout that, but I need detail repeating.
    Btw, the videos are fantastic. You`re a great teacher and you explain theory in a very understandable way.
    God bless you brother🙏🏼

    Great tutorial Warren. I also play the piano and I spent a lot of hours watching tutorials like this. It is a wonderful feeling to see someone from Jamaica where I'm from doing such a fantastic tutorial. For the 2nd, 5th passing chords to the Em I would just play 7th, 3rd, 6th... I think it's basically the same concept but your way is much simpler... Great job,.. Keep up the good work.. bless

    • @PianoLessonwithWarren
      @PianoLessonwithWarren  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just Dez there really isn’t a right or wrong way, it’s a matter of taste, and experience. As I get more familiar with a song I change the inversions I use, and I do this based on intuition and what sounds better to my ears.

      Learning the piano is not a task that you complete and move on, it’s a lifestyle. You need to be enjoying the process, the journey, not waiting for the “pot of goal” at the end.
      If you love music and playing the piano, then don’t give up 😊👍🏾

    What is the difference between your tutorials here in youtube and the courses you offered to purchase?

    • @PianoLessonwithWarren
      @PianoLessonwithWarren  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Structure and depth, that’s what I offer in the paid program. Think of the TH-cam tutorials as the appetizer, and the paid program as the main course meal plus Desert.
      One of the main thing you’re missing from TH-cam is structure - a logic Plath to learn my ear. Jumping from one random video/channel to the next is not how you get structured learning. This is what I offer on the website.

    This is a beautiful concept Warren but what I think you are forgetting is that if they can't afford the $25 they probably don't have a piano :(
    If they DO have a piano they are probably either an organization that could afford the 25 or they are a wealthier person in that country. Your free videos are more than enough to justify to someone to save up and buy your course. It's sort of like reducing the price of plastic surgery versus a heart transplant.
    As a brother in Christ I hope this advice is taken as it was intended :) ❤
