I got Mavic pro 2 for 70th birthday, your video is an excellent training video, with excellent coverage on settings. I will be looking forward to watching more of your videos, thank you for sharing with us.
This is the only tutorial that I’ve watched, and I’ve watched a lot, that explains everything in understandable language. If you’ve just purchased a Mavic 2 watch this film. Thanks very much for letting me watch it and understand a lot more about my new drone.
This is the only video that I have watched that gives details on how to set up and use the controller. I am a neophyte to drones so it is very intensive and is a lot to absorb. I will have to return and watch it again a few more times. Thanks a lot.
I have just bought the Mavic 2 Pro and without your video, I would be lost (I am new to drones) you are very formative, keep it up and I have subscribed
Just finished watching this video. You have jam packed so much information, I need to watch it several more times and take notes. I truly appreciate having you explain a great deal of the capabilities packed into this drone. I purchased mine last week and flew it once so far. I've been looking for videos about the mavic pro 2, and yours is fantastic. Thank you!
LOL Yeah, even the most wonderful of people forget when I'm shooting. We're happy to hear our video was so helpful. Thanks for watching and we hope you'll subscribe!
Thank you for the instructional video. I played with my Mavic 2 pro last night and I’m really impressed ! I’m glad I made the decision to purchase this awesome drone. I’m stoked !!!! The battery doesn’t last long enough for me so I’m gonna buy a few extra ones. You can never have too many batteries. 😊
Nice video. I just bought a M2P yesterday, new to me, so it was already set up & linked to the RC. The seller needed $ fast and fortunately for me, I had the cash he needed. I've had a MP for almost a year now and feel comfortable flying it. Your videos will help me become comfortable with the M2P as well. But just in case, I visited with my State Farm agent to immediately add it to my existing PA policy. Now if I screw up, it's covered. Yay.
Lee Besing I’d like to do the same, add insurance from State Farm for my M2P. Did they give you any trouble because you bought it used? How did you show them the value of it? Thanks for your help!
I had the seller generate an invoice for me. State Farm doesn't care about new / used, just how long ago did you buy it. They won't / don't like to / cover anything that you bought more than 2 years ago. But print up an invoice, give them the serial number and they were cool with it. I did go in person with the drone to do a "show & tell" session with the agent's representative. That may have helped, but last year when I bought my MP, they didn't ever see it in person.
Just bought a Mavic 2 Pro and have been watching videos all day. This by far the best and most descriptive video. Thanks so much for all the important information. i have a Yuneec and a Phantom 4 Pro. I think this purchase was the best yet.
Wow what a great, fun, instructinal and breathtaking video. Way better than even the DJi official tutorials. Thank you so much for making such creat content to help me with my Mavic 2 pro.
Thank you for the full Monty what a terrific video a perfect video that can be returned to at any time especially as new M2P owners. Once again very many thanks from this side of the pond.
This was one of the best tutorials. I would appreciate if you explain further the difference between the two RTH's. I have seen some videos that shows that if you put the RTH as where your controller is, and then walked for a distance of 100 m for example, this does not mean that the drone will return to home where the control is now (100 meters from the launch point. It will actually go back to where you started your trip. It is confusing, so hope you can clarify this to your viewers. Thank you.
best video so far on my maviv 2 zoom and not so fast talking as some !!!!!! and a joke accasionaly which makes it more watchable keep it up ,john from Nottingham england
Brilliant!! Ive been using my Mavic Pro 2 for maybe six months and this is a really good video. I have learnt a lot i didnt know about my machine. Thank you!
This guy is Great. This is my first High Dollar drone and all the information is outstanding. He will be go-to whenever I need something answered. Thanks!!
By far the best video on this subject that I have seen to date. You guys do an awesome job with the in depth stuff. Keep up the good work I am so glad I found you and subscribed 👍
Hi, James long time no see your videos. Another super informative production. I'm more confident to change from my Mavic Pro to Mavic 2 Pro. I hope to have new videos from you about top configurations and accessories soon. Cheers from Brazil.
James, You da MAN!!! Great video. I've been a Mavic flyer since the Mavic came out but just got the 2 Pro today. Great tutorial!!! Thanks, Tony from Lake Wales, Florida
By far the best video to understand the mavic 2. I have the mavic pro 2 and i found some things i didnt even know about. I flew it for the first time and its def worth every single penny...LOVE IT Im trying how i can follow a motorcycle w my car and follow it w the drone and get good footage lol Thanks for the vid. Also what the best way to get distance? Seems like after about 3000~4000 feet my signal gets weak and this is w just a ipad with no cell or gps service. Only using the remote. Do you get more distance using cellular connection or use a ipad or iphone that has gps? Whats the farrest distance this can travel? Thanks
Awesome video and hilarious call from wifey. I have a Mavic pro 2 and afraid to fly it until I actually know how to do so. Thanks to your video. Definitely subscribing.
can u explai how to get the sound into the mavic/tripod camera with that headset and which app do u use? Great vid! just launched the drone today for the first time and its so sick!!!! i know 1500+400 for the fly more is a pretty penny but its worth every single penny. Love it..
Comprehensive and excellent explanation I really enjoyed learning about the new product DJI needs to upload the crab to their site Because they have nothing on training Thank you
Just an FYI. After watching this, I was reviewing the manual and came across this: The APAS feature is automatically disabled when using Intelligent Flight Modes and resumes automatically after exiting Intelligent Flight Modes. (page 32) So, I'm thinking that your test of the APAS feature wasn't really using APAS but just the new, better obstacle avoidance in Intelligent Flight Modes.
Great video. Just returned the M2P for the Zoom. Wanted the Zoom capability. First drone. Don't intend on making video adjustments on a PC and don't have a machine capable of h.265.
Very useful video! I came up through Phantom 2 then 4 now the M2P and I still learnt a lot. I do however have one question and that is how are you getting the small screen recreated on the TV I could not find any other HDMI/Composite outputs to tape into?
Nice video. How do you show the app screen so it can be recorded or played back so others can view it later or use it in a video or something? Is there additional software to be used or something? I know what AirData is, but that is something different. Thanks!
Can you please explain how you're patching your audio to the mavic camera. You mention the headphones and some app, but i didnt quite understand. Great instructional though!! Keep up the great vids.
We sell it. Not certain if it's on our website just yet, but you're welcome to call in during business hours to place the order and for free shipping - 801.486.5757 M-F 9-6. Thanks for watching!
@@Tvspecialists Can you please explain how you're patching your audio to the mavic camera. You mention the headphones and some app, but i didnt quite understand. Great instructional though!! Keep up the great vids.
Pls am new to flying of drone ..and you advice not to allow your drone to land on a grass ....now I've been allowing my drone to land on a grass and encounter exactly what you said about the neck of the camera bending to one side. Now what do I do ?
Overall, the Zoom is just so much better...honestly, unless you're filming in low light - sunrise/sunset etc, both cameras are virtually the same to the human eye and the Zoom has lossless Zoom and extra features like HDR photos and Dolly Zoom - hands down much better!
I just subscribed to your channel! I think you are the first person I've seen go into this much detail on the settings. Thanks! I'm waiting for my Mavic 2 Pro so I'll be tuning in regularly! One question, you had RTH at current altitude turned on (28:57) while reviewing the Main Controller settings. If you set an RTH altitude, what overrides what if that toggle remains on?
As someone new both to drones in general and the Mavic 2 Pro in particular, this video was very frustrating because I cannot see what you are doing to bring up the various menus. Also, I bought a bundle with a smart controller and it would appear that there are differences between this and the smartphone based controller. Is there a tutorial for true beginners? I see lots of neat stuff but can't get to the menus, or they don't behave as advertised. I found one to enable the T/P/S switch but after I would turn it on, in a few moments it turned itself off. I'm getting nowhere fast.
Do you know you have the only complete, decent video on the Mavic controller on the Internet? DJI could learn a thing or two from you! Without your video I would be really stuck.
Still love that Mavic 2 pro. A beast of a drone even in 2023!

Probably the best instructional video I've seen. This is my second DJI drone and I learned so much about my new Mavic Pro 2 from your video. Thanks!
Thank you for the video; this is the best setup video I have seen so far; well done.
Thanks for great instruction tutorial.

Thanks for the instructions. I could have read the instructions, but I read very slow and tire from reading. This is much faster and easier for me.
Great job ! love what you have done and hope you will continue for more detail settings
I'd love to subtitle this into Portuguese so that more people can benefit from this video! Very good job!
I believe if you do a half push on the still exposure, it autofocuses. No need to waste a customizable button on that. Very cool video, thank you!
most informative and hilariously funny tutorial i have seen in a long time.
Outstanding video on DJI that I have seen in Pas 6 months! This is how it should be !!! Thank you

Awesome video, you demonstrated deep knowledge about the subject, thank you for this video.
Just a quick heads up a barometer measures atmospheric pressure, altimeter measures distance off of ground or above sea level
Thanks for this tutorial. Great information and commentary!
8:19 Camera man, caught on camera, not paying attention! Oops! 😉
GadgetGuy .......😆😅🤣
Remarquable vidéo...... i love it....
I just got one of these as a first time drone operator. What did you connect to the controller for the bigger screen?
Awesome video, beats the 2.5 point print in the manual that I couldn't read.
hi there, thanks for the video. to have a long range should i put the channel in 5.8ghz. many thanks
You’re supposed to keep the drone in place and rotate around it for compass calibration. You stood in place and spun it around you. 😉
I used to it the way you said but really it makes no difference
Nice tutorial, had a few good laughs also
Great Overview! How did/do you link that TV to your controller? I want to do that! :)
Incredibly thorough and very useful especially for me since this is my first drone! Thanks!
Thanks for watching and we hope you'll subscribe!
AWESOME tutorial...
HAHA! I laugh so hard at 37:20. hahaha lol
It's really sweet, I love the reaction of that phone call.
thank you very informational. How do you program to where photos and videos are saved to your phone automatically.
for the Mavic pro 2
Very useful video! I came up through Phantom 2 then 4 now the M2P and I still learnt a lot. I do however have one question and that is how are you getting the small screen recreated on the TV I could not find any other HDMI/Composite outputs to tape into?

That's exactly what we like to hear! Thanks for watching, and we hope you'll subscribe!
Excellent video!

Outstanding!! This is how you do an instructional video. Subbed!! Love your Ronin S vid too!
Nicely explained and happily subscribed
Wonderful to hear! We welcome your subscribe! Thanks for watching!

Can you please explain how you're patching your audio to the mavic camera. You mention the headphones and some app, but i didnt quite understand. Great instructional though!! Keep up the great vids.

What is the app your using to record voice? Do I need specific earbuds? Does this record right to the video while flying?
That was a great and extensive review. 👍👍

Looked good till you calibrated the compass wrong!

Excellent
I thought about leaving the plastic around the charger, but it gets hot and the plastic restricts heat dissipation.
I'm confused with the calibrate compass thing, do we spin our body or the drone (center of spin)? Thank you
Great review well done 👍👍🇬🇧
Now I know my magic pro. Thanks so much. Subbed
