I vote for a street/drag build with the bigger emphasis on the street part. I think you could make a killer 2 seater Ariel Atom style setup!! Also HUGE shoutout to the guy who gave that to you. That’s a really standup thing to do and a way to ensure great content from a great YT’er

@@reggiexp69 its a Rotax 500cc two stroke. The guy i bought it from claims it was off of an ultralight airplane. But my research shows it was more likely a snow mobile motor. I just finished re-doing the rear end to fit it.
Dude put some Minni slicks on it, then your gearing it way lower and you solve the issues of it being all over the road! You should try that first before you rip it apart

I have seen a build similar to that, I called it "The Death-Trap." I have also seen modifications where they replace the engine with a 250-300cc motorcycle engine and it is more manageable. I am fond of the 250cc ninja swaps as they sound great and preform.
i have been thinking about doing this for a while to make a car for autocross. the biggest issue that i found for this is if you want to keep it rear engine rwd is going to be setting up a differential. ive looked into many ways to do it. the easiest but most expensive i found is to buy a trike converson kit for the rear. there is diy ways to make one. another possible option is to make it front engine rwd and hook the engine up to a drive shaft and set it up like this. alot of people do this by getting plans for a lotus 7 and making the frame. they call it the locost 7. cant wait to see what you come up with.

I am disabled. Currently unable to afford any of this. It is absolutely a dream of mine to rebuild my confidence in vehicles and be able to become more independent at the same time. I agree, tear it down and work the frame (gussets, IRS in the rear in workable!, new A-arm set up out front, lower/widen it, and lower that cage). Street legal Drift buggy! It that bores you, turbo, or 1000cc swap.
Def street build! That GSX-R motor's torque curve starts at like 8,000 RPMs. You've got to stay in super high revs to get the most out of it, which just doesn't work for off-road.

.... that thing is pulling the front tires with that gearing any lower you will pull the wheels on the easiest take off

Track width too narrow for the center of gravity. In my opinion I like the rear track to be equal or wider than front.

I made the front end on a go kart wider than the rear one time and my wife ended up busting her damn head open because of how squirrely it was.
I just got a 200E XRX and I was shocked to see the rear ttack is about a foot narrower.
I saw a youtube snap roll his on a test ride.
