    Sebastian and Steffen sent such wonderful treats! Thanks to them! I have had Turkish Delight before, and it is very delicious. If I could try something from today's video, I'd love to try the tea. It looks really wonderful! Thanks for the video. I hope Satoshi and Justin are doing well, and Shinichi is having a good vacation in Hong Kong. Thinking of you all!

    All of these looked amazing! I've had Turkish Delight before, but not in pinwheels. And I think it just had powdered sugar on top instead of coconut, but I can't quite remember. It's been a long time. I will have to try it again some time.

    Just say it " moist" . Don't worry. People are getting too silly about everything. It seems that nowadays we can't say, draw or write anything without them referring it to something else. If they have twisted weird mind it's their problem. It's a normal English word.

    • @slayldrm2695

    As far as I am concerned you can say the M word whenever you like, because it is your channel and you decide what to say or not! People get so easily triggered these days...
    Thank you for yet another wonderful video!! Looking forward to your next one!

  • @09kn09

    Your pronunciations are more than very good honestly. Just you can try to sound 's' with hook (ş) as -shi or -shu,.. and 'c' with hook (ç) as -chi, -chu, -cho, -cha, etc. And you may like to use u (but Japanese narrow u) instead for i without dot, I mean for 'ı'.
    Like when reading ıhlamur you can make it as 'uhulamûru' maybe. Exactly the same way as reading Romaji.
    Doğuş çay is Do-ou-shu chay
    Pişmaniye is 'pi-shi(/shu)-ma-ni-ye'.
    An-te-pi/pu fu-su-tu(yeah :( )-ku-lu ku-ro-ka-n.
    I'd strongly recommend kestane şekeri for you two, preferably Kafkas brand. It resembles yokan in someways and has own peculiar taste different from azuki beans too. I adore yokan along green tea.

    "Pismaniye" is translated to English as “cotton candy”. But, it's quite diffrent from cotton candy. Pismaniye is way more sweeter and has more intense flavor than cotton candy. Also, there is intenser version of “pismaniye” in Turkey and it’s called “Saray Helvası.” it’s moulded in smaller form to prevent your blood sugar level rocket up!
    Both these Turkish sweatments are originally handmade.

    the meaning of the word moist depends on how you use it in a sentence , when a cake has the right amount of liquid in it it is fine to say the cake is moist, however when you see someone the excites you then you can say" that person makes me moist" or " she was so moist" both sentences are sexual in nature, so as you can see depending on how you use the word it can be either sexual in nature or mean nothing at all, with that being said don't be afraid to use the word moist just be aware of HOW you are using it

    You could just ignore the idiots, but here are some suggestions to avoid the word moist ... A good sponge is what you are aiming for so to say “This is a very spongy cake” is the perfect compliment. Of course the most popular is the one you correctly use. “This cake is not dry”! Personally I like the expression “It has a good crumb” or it’s “lovely and crumbly”!

    • @PamelaProPeace
      @PamelaProPeace 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      FYI the word moist came from the French moiste which means damp! A damp cake?!? Not very complimentary at all!
