    Why is it 0 at equator sir, this is the most confusing part and l never got its concept

      To understand it in simple terms consider a rotating door which is pivoted in the middle, now the door will rotate when u apply force on one side, but if you apply same force on two opposite sides in same direction the door will not rotate. In technical terms at equator the earth's surface is parrel to axis of rotation so the components of coriolis force become zero
