Well what have we started haha the goal is to get it running and driving also stopping 😂 so we can enter the Max Pinjarra car show April 7th 2024 If you would like to help us out grab your self some Down the shed with Byron Merch check out three3s.com.au/creators/down-the-shed-with-byron/ Cheers everyone 👍
Good to see the guys helping out the Big Fella with the ute. The big fella looks as though he was enjoying himself with the build which hopefully will get him helping his old man out a bit more. Great video Byron. I hope to see more upgrades to the ute down the track.
Hey big fella, start investing in milk crates! They’ll come in handy when you change the other door. Good ‘ol Dad coming home with goody’s, he’s not a bad old bloke after all 🤣
Congratulations on getting her running and together, always liked the ute but never owen one, thanks for sharing, all the best to yous and your loved ones
Good too see it made the show. Would like too see the big fella tackle the rust repairs. Get him on the metal glue gun. Also as you where driving it in the Showgrounds I visioned a old Golden Fleece ram stenciled on the patina doors 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
@@downtheshedwithbyron certainly is but you can’t put a price on learning a skill. Chip away at it. Doesn’t have to be pretty just has to keep the weather out.
@@andrewkirk8687 and yeah like you were saying the price to learn is priceless on an old project But mate the memories, good times and the learning the Big fella have had thats the best 👌
Solid effort boys!! I hope your proud of what you’ve done BIG FELLA. My HG wagon is in bits under my car port slowly getting rust cut out. Lol I’d give anything to be able to drive my old girl. And hopefully we get to see the big fella driving it himself 👍
G'day mate Yeah the goal was to just get it running driving and stopping then enter it in the car show now what to do haha Dont worry mate ive still got a ht premier i started building 17 year ago in the back corner of the shed haha
So, how far off rego do yas think? I don't much like the clear coat idea. It's plastic coating. If I had a Big Fella HT ute, I'd instead give it a couple or few coats of car polish, the sythetic hard shell kind, that would prevent further oxidation, preserve the patina, & make it glow natural.
@@downtheshedwithbyron Yeah but yeah but, its dead quick & easy fellas. You just slap it on with a big brush, or a spray gun, & then after its set up hard, you hit it with the drill mop. Cut the handle socket bit off a floor mop head, then drill a hole & insert a bolt so that you can stick it in your drill chuck. It only takes 1 Fella 1 hour to apply a coat. Come to think on it, ya's do a lot of things the hard way. All that dust pan & brush work, what's wrong with a leaf blower?
That sounds like the go The boys cleaned it out in the shed when i was at work gave them something to do other wise it would of been the blower haha Its all about haha some fun
