Imagine Madness Combat goes for so long it reaches 600 episodes, then they would be like "yo dude the soundtrack of MC952 is sick" "wait, which one tho?"
This song feels experimental and slightly different compared to other modern Madness soundtracks, yet you nailed it at making a banger that referenced MC9.5 part 1 while still being its own thing. Bravo.
It feels as a fight through chaos where nothing still makes much sense but there is a little hope left. This song represents the adrenaline in holding to that hope
I love how this track just captures the chaos, depth and grandness of the current Nevadan world. From a humble boombox scuffle to fighting literally in the depths of hell itself. No one could create the music for this series better than you Chesh. You are truly gifted with right kind of twisted mind that just suites this series filled with insanity beyond understanding.
Whenever i listen to something i like to associate one instrument to one specific character playing it. And man that quiet background guitar playing through whole soundtrack makes me think of MC7 Hank. Left alone, lonely sitting off the edge of the building after the ending of the episode, holding and playing quietly to himself. It just fits his ending so much. I like little clown chime it plays, as if like Tricky just sits to his side and at his sight Hank decided to play it as a little welcome. As for every other sounds: Electric riffs and just the main instruments playing through whole song is Antipathy Hank causing chaos. Metalic sounds, buzzings, gear turningsn and little mysterious chime at 5:57 is Retainer at his job. Crazy screams and random grunting noises is Tricky going insane all over the place. 3:21 in particular i like to associate with AHW like it's their little theme, robotic and systematic barging themselves into electrical banger MC6 Hank was playing around with.
This song has quite a different feel to it than other mc songs. Many more instruments along with the melody rarely repeating itself, however still keeping that madness style. It feels less brutal or violent and more chaotic and unexpected. Suits 9.5 2 perfectly in my opinion, with how different it is from other episodes.
I love the hints of MC9.5 pt 1 and the constant chaos and energy with an undertone of horror that keeps listeners on the edge of their seat. Well done, Conductor of Madness. Thank you for your dedication.
Madness without Cheshyre just wouldn't feel the same. Seriously, this track is an absolute BANGER. ID Software needs to hire you on to do the Doom 3 soundtrack.
Just as Krinkels has evolved in choreography you have perfected your music. Two artists that I never regret being a fan for so many years. PS: I can't stop listening to this. LOL - You definetly have a piece here!
I love this, because it captures the feeling of the usual action-speed like music, but also gives off a dreadful one, like people have been stuck in Hell screaming and crying, and faint music plays in the background. It's faint and negative, but action-packed, which is a combo I'd never thought I'd hear. I hope you are coming to terms well with your loss well too, Chesh, because it might still be in your head and not letting you do what you want. If you still need time off, take it. I would like for you to come back when you are fully ready. Edit: 1:24 is one of my favorite parts, because it sounds like a little jingle that would play every time Tricky joined, as if Madness Combat is a video game.
Still amazed just how well this fits in story wise, like it isn't as crazy MC 11 - 10 but it is like getting there. Also how "styling" it is to fit Hanks more faster fighting in MC 9.5 2. How it even has parts of 9.5 1. Just amazing overhaul.
YES, finally. Edit: Omfg, this didn't disappoint from pt.1's theme. Edit2: the crescendo used for when Hank vs Hank hits the screen is so fucking badass
It's still incredible that even after all these years, you and Krinkels still manage to be my absolute favorite duo of all time. The Madness cartoons are absolutely legendary, but your songs ALWAYS match them blow for blow in sheer epicness, and both have only gotten better as the years go by. Madness wouldn't be the same without these epic tunes, and I honestly can't tell which I love more. Thank you for continuing to bless my eardrums after all this time, and I will wait with bated breath for the next masterpiece you drop.
Never say never, so I'm gonna comment on how addicted I've been to this song for the past few days. One of my favorite works of yours, there's something about the instrumentation and melody that make it incredible earcandy. Keep on rocking Chesh!
Man, your music really fits the madness series perfectly, the series would not be as iconic as it is without your tunes. Its identity comes not only from the animation but also a lot of it from your music. Its somber, groovy, catchy and creative all in a way that just works and creates this mysterious and awesome atmosphere. You've created something amazing with Krinkels that will be remembered by thousands of people for many years and I hope you know that. Chesh the mad genius. Long live the madness.
A small detail in the intro referencing 9.5 part 1 is just really sick. It tells you that this *is* the continuation of 9.5 part 1 and i really fucking dig it.
Compared to most of the soundtrack for madness combat this one really feels slow and heavy, which of course suits the animation perfectly, really like how newly and experimental it sounds
1:27This part just… hits so hard. Like first emerging in a whole new, scary, illogical world through a portal, seeing the unearthly landscape, the logic-defying sights, and the improbability of it all…
Ironic that this is used for MC6 Hank, because I feel this track perfectly represents MC7 Hank. Calm, methodical with twinges of insanity and rage. Definitely one of my favourites.
This is fascinating! Your music shows emotions very well: while MC9.5 sounds more agressive (Hank hasn't calmed down yet), this one is completely different - tempo is slower, some instruments sound extremely creepy, there is screams everywhere, like Hank is on the verge of giving up, but, eventually, he gets his shit together and makes out of this mess
I love how the most replayed part of this song is the part where Tricky shows up with a fucking chainsaw and shreds the retainer to pieces. Gotta Love That Clown
I had literally just typed out a post on twitter about how I cannot wait for this to be released and I am so obsessed with how this sounds -- THANK YOU CHESHYRE!!
This feels different from the other Madness soundtracks, but still captures the feeling perfectly and I've been addicted to it ever since MC9.52 dropped. Chesh you are a damn god.
It's in half time to match the slower combat tempo of the episode. 6Hank here fights way slower, with more OOMF, than 7Hank; The combat is choreographed to showcase it. Ep8 was similarly slow. I imagine Krinks told Mr. Hodges, "I want this episode to be slow and hard-hitting."
I really like the ending on this one, that like fade out with rythm, feels almost haunting. Kind of like the ending of the animation, big fan. Also the whole song is excellent
I love this soundtrack so much! It's giving me feelings that Hank is really tired of all these things, maybe he even wonders: was that really worth it to start the slaugthering in the first place?... but then song gets more energy, Hank seems to gain strength and willing to continue no matter what. The repeating leitmotifs from the first part are like "hey, do your thing, do what comes natural, it is what you are!". Killing grunts may be the only thing that keeps Hank at the "cold killing machine" state, without regrets and remorse. Keeping him more "sane" even, maybe? The word must have been chosed poorly, but that's my impression. Thank you for this masterpiece, Cheshyre!
It's a little late, but I see it as him being sort of empty headed most of the time. He doesn't think about his actions and just follows orders. It's mostly shown in M:PN, especially in the ending and in the Seeking Asylum part, where he gets a -12℅ as a mental stability test's result and just goes "Well, okay then. ". At least it was like that before MC7, where he actually shows fear and in the end just gives up. He doesn't even fight back when Jeb kills him. There's a pretty much confirmed theory that at the start of MC7 his S-3LF was separated into two different personalities with different bodies and different views in life, 6th (visible metal jaw and a shirt with a smiley face) and 7th (glowing goggles and a lot of belts). 6th is always unreasonably angry, but 7th on the other hand is visibly tired. It's mostly shown it two scenes - the first one is the end of MC9.5 part 1 where there're writings on the wall: "Liar", " Never coming back", "Volleyball when? " The last one is a little throwback to a fact before everything started, Hank was a volleyball fan. The second one might be his thoughts about his reality of being in a cycle of death (MC7 end) and revival (MC7 start) and constantly being thrown between dimensions (it's not confirmed, but it's very likely what's going on), but I don't know who he can call a liar. The second scene is is where he says the must confusing line: "Hello again, and again, and again, and again... ". Even in the end of MC12 he looks scared. Meanwhile, 6th is pretty much fine in the MAG body, so it's fair to say that 7th is probably sort of jealous. The Other Place really changed him and now he is able to feel more complex emotions. (If there's any grammar or logic issues please tell me)
From around 4:40 to 5:50 is SO good. There's something about it that's so dissimilar to older MC pieces like 6,7, or even 10, but there's something still so hype and just... YOU! There will never be a better on-the-spot improvised music genre than Cheshcore.
Wow, I've been very much looking forward to hearing this new track since the animation but I wanted to hear it more clearly. Upon hearing the full song now, let me just say that it did NOT disappoint. It sounds incredibly experimental and disorienting/disjointed, yet also very methodical and well-structured at the same time, as if there is some controlled chaos, or rather, a method to the "madness," occurring behind the seemingly random chaos. The musical callbacks and leitmotifs, particularly to MC 11, MC9.5 and Catastrophy from Project Nexus (as far as I've managed to pick up on upon my first listen), are also implemented unbelievably smoothly. Impeccable job, Chesh. You've managed to outdo yourself once more by yet again creating an extremely unique and beautiful piece of art that not only PERFECTLY encapsulates the theme of the animation, but that also adds to it immensely. Thank you for your ongoing years of stunning musical masterpieces, Chesh. You bewilder me every time.
I think I hear bits of awful pretty in this, around when tricky does the mouth thing for the first time Edit: More accurately, it plays for the entire song. I also noticed that right around when hank goes into the room where tricky does the mouth thing, the MC8 leitmotif plays. There's probably the MC6, MC7, and MC9 leitmotifs somewhere but honestly I'm too lazy to check.
god oh man do i love this one it perfectly describes the episode: “fun chaos sneakily filled with recognization”, if that makes any sense hell, the chaos it instills almost reminds me of TrainMadness at points, which makes a lot of sense if you think about it… 😉 nice job, my man, you only get better the more songs you produce
Fucking love the creepy aesthetic the 9.5 tracks have been moving toward really makes the world feel hopeless and too far gone Excellent work as always
Whenever Krinkles announces a new Madness Combat animation, my hype for the release is always two fold. Your music is as much a spectacle as the animations featuring it. But I would argue your music lasts a lot longer, I come back to watch the violent animations every once in a while and have a fun time returning. But the music, the music is on repeat. In the car, at work, at home, on a jog. There is just so much flavour in your music that it's impossible for the taste buds to be satisfied in a single sitting. Your music is beautiful.
When you're inbetween two spaces you will feel like you recognize unrecognizable things, This is a familiar place with an unknown background. If this is what the future holds its pretty damn good. keep up the empty spaces filled with sound because we know you feel the madness.
Dude the moment I found your music I just knew you were the absolute finest creater of sick vibes, this is a testament to that realization. You inspire me to one day try to create something as ABSOLUTELY PERFECT.
Krinkels and you are the people I admire the most, I see your animations and listen to your music since the first times I played a computer when I was 6 years old. I hope I never miss your music, incredible song. Greeting from Argentina Cheshy 😁😁
Every time a new MC episode comes out, I always wonder how Chesh will surprise us, each time his tracks are more amazing than the last (and it's not easy to surpass himself in that way). It's becoming more and more clear to me that both Krink and he have an imagination and talent beyond compare. Another collector's item that deserves to be in a museum. Lots of love.
"Thank you for supporting the creative endeavours of people you barely know, and I am going to earn every bit of it." With such artistic prowess, you've already earned whatever support is already there and will be, Chesh. Thank you for this masterpiece.
I love to beatbox my head off with these songs, wether it's in class doing some work or just being hyper with ADHD it always feels the twisted mood of my mind good work chesh!
I am extremely late to the commentary party… Then again, when have us goons ever been early to a fight? But nonetheless. This is a banger of a soundtrack. I love seeing the strife these two stupidly durable hanks have to feel with. Constantly fighting hell over and over as they die and and get revived. Might explain how Mr. Wimbleton was able to get more skilled throughout the episodes. Lovely overall Mr. Cheshyre. *The AAHW respects you.*
Part 2 surpasses part 1 by a great length, I think. The serious toned version of part 1's leitmotif works really well. This a lot different too, from the typical episode soundtracks, yet it fits the theme- nailing the inane setting this episode takes on. Bravo!
I like how this is a new track, yet Cheshyre decided to add a few sound cues directly from Part 1 with some slight edits of course. Makes them sort of connected since Krinkels made the decision to split them into two parts even though they would've been one part.

This is your best work since Train Madness in my opinion. Keep everything up to your fullest
Woah, thanks! I'll do my best!
god oh man do i love this one
it perfectly describes the episode: “fun chaos sneakily filled with recognization”, if that makes any sense
hell, the chaos it instills almost reminds me of TrainMadness at points, which makes a lot of sense if you think about it… 😉
nice job, my man, you only get better the more songs you produce
Probably the best music in the entire madness combat universe.
man this ones so good, i dont even know how to describe it
Was waiting for this to be released, definetly one of your best ones yet!
Fucking love the creepy aesthetic the 9.5 tracks have been moving toward
really makes the world feel hopeless and too far gone
Excellent work as always
THANK YOU FOR THIS MASTERPIECE CREATION
Whenever Krinkles announces a new Madness Combat animation, my hype for the release is always two fold. Your music is as much a spectacle as the animations featuring it.
But I would argue your music lasts a lot longer, I come back to watch the violent animations every once in a while and have a fun time returning. But the music, the music is on repeat. In the car, at work, at home, on a jog. There is just so much flavour in your music that it's impossible for the taste buds to be satisfied in a single sitting.
Your music is beautiful.
The song vibrates that no matter whats going on, things aren't going to get better anytime soon, for now you must do what comes natural
When you're inbetween two spaces you will feel like you recognize unrecognizable things, This is a familiar place with an unknown background.
If this is what the future holds its pretty damn good. keep up the empty spaces filled with sound because we know you feel the madness.
Holy crap it becomes so good 5:15
Edit:Its so good at this part too 6:41
Literally the most awesomest f**kin thing I ever heard this year.
This is top peek music it's great for keeping you going in any sport or motivating you on a midnight drive always listen to this good stuff!
Both the animation and song have so many little details in it. Thanks for adding such great tracks to make a great series even greater.
Greeting from Argentina Cheshy
😁😁
I love the first parts instruments. I would love a full song just like that
I hope you are doing well Cheshyre, wonderful work as always
Ah yeah it’s madin’ time
Combatin’ time
You could hear leitmotifs of 9.5 part 1
Every time a new MC episode comes out, I always wonder how Chesh will surprise us, each time his tracks are more amazing than the last (and it's not easy to surpass himself in that way). It's becoming more and more clear to me that both Krink and he have an imagination and talent beyond compare. Another collector's item that deserves to be in a museum.
Lots of love.
Waited for this to drop! Dapper as always!
"Thank you for supporting the creative endeavours of people you barely know, and I am going to earn every bit of it."
With such artistic prowess, you've already earned whatever support is already there and will be, Chesh. Thank you for this masterpiece.
3:21 This part feels like Madness 9.5 Part 1 remastered, and I like it.
So does 7:08
The part of the song that plays when consternation hank appears really captures the mood of the scene perfectly
Out of all the Madness Combat soundtracks, at least in my opinion this is by FAR the best.
is this song included in the "mastered or not mastered guessing game" ? cuz it sure does sound alot more polished than last time i heard it
It’s mastered, that’s why it took him a bit too upload after the animation
@@autismos Also happened with the first part.
Whoa its crossfire!
@تريكي (رئيس جلد الشحاتين) yeah, I did some renaming across all my socials.
Thanks! And sorry about all that. This one is the only one I'm releasing.
I love to beatbox my head off with these songs, wether it's in class doing some work or just being hyper with ADHD it always feels the twisted mood of my mind good work chesh!
I honestly can't think of a better track to compliment the unexpected return of Antipathy!Hank and his brutal, aggressive combat style.
After a year of waiting its here and its FANTASTIC!
this is a mixture of rage and sadness.
GENIUS
3:22 genuinely goes hard, that right there sounds menacing as hell
3:23 i really love the bits of mc11 here, don't get how no one's talking about it
Part 2 surpasses part 1 by a great length, I think. The serious toned version of part 1's leitmotif works really well. This a lot different too, from the typical episode soundtracks, yet it fits the theme- nailing the inane setting this episode takes on. Bravo!
kelzad real
Kelzam
Kelsolid
oh no it's kelsad
@@bsfgpmedia hopefully he's not kelmad
I like how this is a new track, yet Cheshyre decided to add a few sound cues directly from Part 1 with some slight edits of course. Makes them sort of connected since Krinkels made the decision to split them into two parts even though they would've been one part.
been waiting on my toes for this to release ever since 9.5 part 2 came out. Really awesome stuff!!
Hope you doing well Cheshyre, thanks once again for this awesome soundtrack you've bestowed upon us. Love your stuff as always mate :)
god damn....if i ever get rich you are one of the first artists i will spoil. absolutely gorgeous.
to me this sounds like the magnum opus of MC music. this is quite literally the best track i have ever heard come out of madness.
3:21 is just *chefs kiss*
