Its unreal knowing that the tracks from 10 years ago and now are done by the same person - you and Krinkels both keeping improving so, so much from those early days of Madness. Your sounds are as much of the action as his animations, never doubt that.

In my opinion, this version is much better. You actually learned something about mixing and mastering. The song is fearsome and epic; it’s a successful addition to your main list for the Madness series. I also noticed the melody from “TrainMadness” at the end; that wasn’t incidental, right? All of you are so perceptive! It's a shame that you can't hear it in the original version. I think people would have loved it. Just another reason to master these songs. It really kinda sneaks up on you. It doesn't stick around in one place too long and it changes drastically from one extreme to the other, kinda. I mastered it so that it felt like it was actually all around you, like you can hear it in the back of your head somehow. I didn't change much and cut down some of the more speaker crunching distortions, but not all. It has to be a song wrapped in barbed wire or it ain't madness. I thank you. I just came across the Madness Combat universe and I was deeply impressed by the power of the music used in this universe. The soundtrack of the animation was so catchy that it stayed with me for days. When I curiously searched for the name behind this music, I came across Cheshyre and came across the song MC9.5. This music is like the definition of perfection. Every note and rhythm combines so perfectly that you find yourself lost in this intense atmosphere while listening. MC9.5 is a track with high energy and deep emotion, which fits perfectly into the Madness Combat universe. Every detail I discovered about Cheshyre's music amazed me even more. Also the MC952 is very nice. Geometry Dash doesn't have good music like this, man!

I quite like the mastered version and i think the best compromoise would be releasing version you have as-is upon release and then releasing your "definitive" master version afterwards, so that it's a compromise for those who want MC version and those who'd like to hear version you're most comfortable with

I’m no expert, but this is close to how it sounds when he is listening to it on its own, but the exporting process/TH-cam’s compression, screw with it. I don’t know what trickery he did to make this sound closer to the og but here it s.
Think of the remaster as a polished version of the original. More sounds sound alot cleaner and they peek out of the mix more (For example apart from the original you can hear the bassdrum alot more and it doesnt really interfere with other sounds as it did in original.) Remastering requires some work with the EQ in general. Thats why the sounds sound more "visible". Lots of producers do remasters to just fix some problems and issues with the mix in the original version.
There is such an interesting contrast between the two songs. This version was definitely worth the wait! I think I actually do prefer this version as a whole because of how everything sounds when properly mastered. Well done!
I really like the breathing at 2:08, that's personally my favourite individual part of the song. I also like that you're using more melodies now too. This direction is really good I think you should keep experimenting with this sound.
