  • Matt Klier of Active Shooter Defense School in San Diego California + a few Ex Navy Seals came out to Tac City for this very special event to play with and against airsofters for fun.
This event was put on to give our airsoft community an opportunity to meet and play with Real Operators. The airsofters and the vets did just that all while making unforgettable memories.
In the end it was an once in a lifetime kind of event that Im sure will be engraved in our airsofter attendees minds forever. Plus this event may have influenced a few of the Ex Seals in aquiring some way cool Airsoft Gear of their own to play in their free time.

Didn't work out for the Seals on op red wings.... Snall units just die in place or hold till evac.
SEALs rock at what their trained for, infiltration of maritime assets, dive demolition helicopter insertion hit missions but they aren't the be all end all of SF and the majority of them don't have great infantry skills because small unit tactics aren't he same as fire and maneouver by section/squad.
Why the SEAL units are deploying for mountain hike type jobs doesn't really make that much sense since their taking a specialised unit and dropping them way out of their element.
The type of game in this video small unit FISH combat they are gonna be great at the stuff SF teams are doing in afgan not so much.

Over the years of playing airsoft my brothers and I have had the honor of playing against Police Officers, a S.W.A.T. team, a TON of Utah National Guardsmen, and quite a few Army vets. I'd have to say the most challenging force we've gone against was the SWAT team but I think it's mostly because we played at their home turf, a training facility called Swanson Tactical here in Utah, very cool building but we didn't know our way around, but the SWAT team did. Still a ton of fun being able to play with men and women with actual military or police training, it's a huge achievement when you win and you feel pretty bad ass, I'd love to have the chance to play against some SEALS and see how we do.

SWAT are a force to be reckoned with. They are extremely well organized and efficient at clearance! They get about the same CQB as us but are limited to the well-being of civilians under the extreme US laws.. kind of bullshit considering it is tough to make life/death decisions in a couple seconds if you ask me but whatever.

Aaron Bennett depending on where you live there are some good courses. All the gear you really need is a mask, a gun, and mags. Most courses will provide rentals so you can try it out without having to buy anything. It's a good hobby to get into and I'm sure you'd do well with your skill set. It's always nice to practice your skills and pick up some new ones while in a safe environment. Some people do MilSim (Military Simulation) where you wear camo, plate carriers, helmet, etc. Others just wear a hoodie and some old jeans and running shoes. It's totally up to the player. I hope this helps!

Three active duty corpsman are regulars. It's such a great place to play. This reminds me. I once went to a field ops training in RI for the sea cadet corps and we go the chance to run room clearing scenarios with a chief that had to been to UCOIN (Urban Counter Insurgency) training, the hardest training to get into as a sea cadet. It was about 10 of us against this one guy and he killed us all. It was crazy to see him maneuver around the house. It was like watching a middle school football team play against an NFL team.

Trevor Anderson idk what kind of sims you are using, but you only need a UTM bolt and UTM rounds to put in standard mags and in your actual weapon. If Marine commanders, or any commanders for that matter, are investing in complete sim rifles, that's a huge waste of funding.

If you payed attention it looks like the air soft players did lose people but they didn't get wiped. Just so you know most adult airsoft players do train the same way a lot of military or police do hell you can find video of military using airsoft to simulate clearing buildings. Ammunition is cheap guns are 1:1 and can be set up to have 30 shots before you need to go through the reload process etc it's good for training muscle memory. I'm not sure how bad the kids did but they probably play more airsoft than video games as long as their parents are willing to drive and pay so they wouldn't be rushing.

I play both, I love CQB and urban battles as well as outdoor wilderness fields, but Speed Softer's tend to be cancer to the sport. (Not always) but a lot of them are.
I used to be huge into paintball, and it was the same way, almost always the scenario/woodsball players were really cool and friendly and the Speedballers had a "I'm better than you" ass hole attitude. Not sure what causes that.

    • @peterlervik1640
      @peterlervik1640 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

i think that airsoft is played with a real objective besides total kills, that is what outdoor has over indoor.

    • @primmecho3638
      @primmecho3638 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

Yeah that's agreeable, when you go to these arena's there will be objectives but for the most part people are just in it to get kills.
If you play MilSim at an urban field however it can be really fun, the team I play with does a game at an abandon factory that's been turned into a haunted house attraction, and we do long objective based games there that are a blast, however when we host those games it does sometimes attract some Speed Soft players and they tend to be douches. :/

Just sharing this paintball story cause I can.
I went to a big outdoor paintball facility , with around 10 different maps.
All of them were themed just like a call of duty game it was crazy.
One was literally called D-Day , and you started out in a little make sift raft floating on a dock . You would then climb a ladder into a big arena decorated with broken down war vehicles and sniper towers.
Another map was just basic woodland with bunkers and birches.
But the first map I played on had big makeshift sheds from plywood and chipboard, with fences and things laid out in overgrown grass.
I was only 13 at the time, along with my 14 year old cousin.
Me and him were literally given our gear with a basic semi-automatic paintball gun ( you know the kind ) and thrown in with a full squadron of military guys.
I mean these guys were fully decked in camo and fancy gear , with fuckin automatics and shit.
Im assuming they were training, and since we didn’t have anyone to play with , this was our team now.
Which was pretty cool I cant lie , It was very surreal considering these guys probably have some bodies under there belt.
All of them except for one or two guys completely ignored our weak asses and just focused on they’re shit.
Maybe they were just advent paintball players who loved the game , but I don’t think so .
So the match started and i'm just laying back in the spawn area , simply because i'm fuckin scared and shit , after like 20mins I hear someone yell last alive or something like that , and all I hear is footsteps of people rushing the building I was in.
I put my hands and thinking i'm just gunna get peppered by these guys if I fight back , which was a bithc move but I mean cmon I was done.
Buddy turns the corner and shoots one right over my head , then realizes i'm surrendering so he stops.
So then the teams switch sides , i'm over behind a small fence , kinda crouching behind a grassy area , alongside a teammate. A few minutes in I see this guy , fully decked in camo , poke his head from behind a wall , maybe a few hundred feet away. I see from his body language that he’s calculating a move to advance. I almost pre-shot through the air , firing a maybe 3-4 rounds and the wind, and hop on the gun , curves this bullet like Angelina Jolie in the motherfucking movie Wanted , hits buddy dead centre in the mask and his entire visor just lit up in orange paint.
    It was fucking beautiful.
The match ended , I think we won that match , and we all gather up together for the next match.
As I’m standing the circle of guys listening to them talk about the match , I hear one guy ask
“ Who shot me in the face ? “
And I just kinda smiled on the inside , and didn’t say a fucking word.
It felt better that he didn’t know.
    Stay humble.

I think it's pretty freaking cool the team took some time to teach the youth here - I've done a multitude of CQB in the past few years just for my own personal knowledge - I hope this truly inspired the youth! Kudos!

SEALS: "We're outnumbered 5 to 1 and they have the power of Mountain Dew... we're fucked"
Everyone else: "We're going against SEALs... we're fucked"
