I see a lot of players- usually younger ones- that are afraid of getting shot, and won't even get out of the box at the starting point. To win you need to be aggressive! Take the fight to the enemy- don't wait for them you come to you. Close the distance quickly and engage them. - and obviously - doing drills and practice off the field pay off big time!
Against the Modern World I was like that when I first went paintballing, then realised if I'm more aggressive my adrenaline will get pumping and being hit won't hurt as much.
Kind of a terrible comparison, considering racing karts are some of the hardest "vehicles" to control, and most F1 drivers actually spent their early years as kart racers.

Do you really think that an airsoft gun and a firearm are going to load the exact same? I'm sure that the firearm has less resistance when inserting the magazine since it's metal-metal contact, compared to the plastic most likely used in these guns.
And in this situation he can't just drop the mag into the floor and load another one like he would do in combat, he has to store it befote putting another one in

Hi! Thanks for responding with your thoughtful question. I should probably be a little bit more clear and specific in my comments. The attitude could be totally different in Europe. But here in the States, the reason so many military guys are "anti-airsoft" is not the sport itself; but rather some of the players. From a practical stand point, the sport is fantastic from a training POV! It's hard to say this towards my fellow countrymen; but the reality is that our society can be a bit shallow, and "fake". Taking that a step further, MANY of the Airsoft players and teams tend to take it a little too seriously; insofar as they tend to actually believe that they are the SEALSPECIALFORCESRANGERDELTAFORCESECRETSQUIRRELASSASIN "wannabe" persona. They name themselves after actual military units, and wear badges and qualifiers that many men who are the "been there, done that" kind of guys take affront to people who have never been in the military wearing the awards and qualifier badges that we had to bust our asses to earn. They seem to not be able to simply enjoy the sport for what it is! Fun! We take the "poser" and "wannabe" thing fairly seriously, because we have some pathetic members of our population that use the veteran or military identity simply to get attention, or praise, and even discounts at retailers and restaurants. They steal the honor that we earned. Now, clearly, that's not what's going on in this video here. And that's why it is so motivating to see. So much so that I think that I'm going to bite the "bullet", or Airsoft bullet in this case :-) get a few Airsoft guns, and have a go at it. That said, I would humbly ask, based upon your experience; what guns, long guns, short guns, and pistols would you recommend for an old Infantry soldier who will abuse the hell out of my weapons? Frankly, I'd LOVE to come to Europe and play! Not only do your players seem to simply enjoy the sport, you have MUCH better facilities to play in!! I would LOVE recommendations on where to play in Europe. I travel to Europe frequently for work, and would easily be able to play at recommended fields. Hi Brian, I can't speak for all people, but I would love to wear navy seal or us marine gear just because 1) i would never be badass enough to pass training and 2) you guys are the real deal. My grandfather was part of the border war in South Africa and I have always been a military fanatic. I've become somewhat obsessed, and yes, I have seen the military posers. I like collecting the apparel though. Even though I would wear the uniform it would always be out of appreciation for what you guys do and went through. Do really think some ex military guys would love doing specops scenarios in an airsoft environment.
I tell you what do to: 1.) Drive/Write to the HQ of the SEK in Calw (South Germany) 2.) Ask an entire Squad if they want to participate in a Airsoft game (for research purpose?) 3.) Watch them destroying² everyone.
So from what I saw, the big difference between Swoosho and the other players was his ability to spot targets, combined with being able to very quickly land accurate shots.
I noticed all that too from what I saw. I always realized about half way in that all of the players were human, there were two teams, and that they were shooting each other in an airsoft match.
You can really tell hes exprienced by hearing his controlled breathing whenever he makes a tactical gunshot or just straight spraying 3 enemies down, breathing is really important while firing as it allows your aim to be more stable well at least in real guns.

I have my doubts. His reloads are waaaay too slow for somebody that is “trained”. He definitely does not know how to do a tactical reload. 1:45
Do you really think that an airsoft gun and a firearm are going to load the exact same? I'm sure that the firearm has less resistance when inserting the magazine since it's metal-metal contact, compared to the plastic most likely used in these guns.
And in this situation he can't just drop the mag into the floor and load another one like he would do in combat, he has to store it befote putting another one in
I have to say... I'm a veteran of the US Army Infantry, and I probably enjoyed this video WAY too much; because it is getting to see someone I consider a peer blowing through people. Perhaps a little immature on my part; but seeing this, and your German SWAT trooper destroy people has motivated me to get past the somewhat "anti-airsoft" POV (most military guys have this same bias), and get into Airsoft.

Hi! Thanks for responding with your thoughtful question. I should probably be a little bit more clear and specific in my comments. The attitude could be totally different in Europe. But here in the States, the reason so many military guys are "anti-airsoft" is not the sport itself; but rather some of the players. From a practical stand point, the sport is fantastic from a training POV!
It's hard to say this towards my fellow countrymen; but the reality is that our society can be a bit shallow, and "fake". Taking that a step further, MANY of the Airsoft players and teams tend to take it a little too seriously; insofar as they tend to actually believe that they are the SEALSPECIALFORCESRANGERDELTAFORCESECRETSQUIRRELASSASIN "wannabe" persona. They name themselves after actual military units, and wear badges and qualifiers that many men who are the "been there, done that" kind of guys take affront to people who have never been in the military wearing the awards and qualifier badges that we had to bust our asses to earn. They seem to not be able to simply enjoy the sport for what it is! Fun!
We take the "poser" and "wannabe" thing fairly seriously, because we have some pathetic members of our population that use the veteran or military identity simply to get attention, or praise, and even discounts at retailers and restaurants. They steal the honor that we earned.
Now, clearly, that's not what's going on in this video here. And that's why it is so motivating to see. So much so that I think that I'm going to bite the "bullet", or Airsoft bullet in this case :-) get a few Airsoft guns, and have a go at it.
That said, I would humbly ask, based upon your experience; what guns, long guns, short guns, and pistols would you recommend for an old Infantry soldier who will abuse the hell out of my weapons?
Frankly, I'd LOVE to come to Europe and play! Not only do your players seem to simply enjoy the sport, you have MUCH better facilities to play in!! I would LOVE recommendations on where to play in Europe. I travel to Europe frequently for work, and would easily be able to play at recommended fields.

Hi Brian, I can't speak for all people, but I would love to wear navy seal or us marine gear just because 1) i would never be badass enough to pass training and 2) you guys are the real deal. My grandfather was part of the border war in South Africa and I have always been a military fanatic.
I've become somewhat obsessed, and yes, I have seen the military posers. I like collecting the apparel though. Even though I would wear the uniform it would always be out of appreciation for what you guys do and went through.
Do really think some ex military guys would love doing specops scenarios in an airsoft environment.

I tell you what do to:
1.) Drive/Write to the HQ of the SEK in Calw (South Germany)
2.) Ask an entire Squad if they want to participate in a Airsoft game (for research purpose?)
3.) Watch them destroying² everyone.
So from what I saw, the big difference between Swoosho and the other players was his ability to spot targets, combined with being able to very quickly land accurate shots.
I noticed while watching this video that my monitor was on and my eyes were working.
Well, I'm glad to hear it! It'd be a real pain to have to buy a new monitor or get corrective eye surgery.
I noticed all that too from what I saw. I always realized about half way in that all of the players were human, there were two teams, and that they were shooting each other in an airsoft match.

You can really tell hes exprienced by hearing his controlled breathing whenever he makes a tactical gunshot or just straight spraying 3 enemies down, breathing is really important while firing as it allows your aim to be more stable well at least in real guns.
