i know someone who actually did something like this and the soldiers got completely crushed, bc when you know its not killing you, you can take crazy chances that suicides you 100% but garentee the win ^^ soldiers are not good at make believe and airsoft people would all die in an actual war :P

Reminds me of a friend of mine who signed up for a paintball tournament. His group drew a regular infantry platoon as their first opponent. They were supposed to have 2 hrs of game time, but they were all dead in 15 mins. Opponents lost nobody.
This makes me realise that I just pretend to play soldier.... good grief, they are so efficient, clam and accurate and then their communications are brilliant, especially under pressure.

You have to be able to shoot left and right handed. Makes you less of a target. Definitely my favorite part of the video was seeing this. U.S. Army trains this too. Great job fellas
@@dandan11479 switching the rifle from one shoulder to the other. If you are to the right of a window or building, u would aim and fire lefthanded. The opposite for righthand. By doing this, you are exposing the rifle as opposed to your entire body. Making yourself less of a target.

But going by what I see in videos of it. If you are hit, you raise your hand and say "hit." Where does your primary hand come into play if you are are already eliminated as a target? Seems like your argument is invalid.

If you are firing from the left side of cover, using your left hand allows you to just stick the barrel out and mow people down on the angle instead of exposing your entire left side by firing with your right hand, or by exposing your right side and having to lean from the right side of cover to get the same angle.

Since they were shooting BBs, they probably used their whole skillset without worrying to kill other players.

We did this back in spring of 2019 3 ex US marines in there late 30's vs 57 X gang members of bloods and, other sorts. The pastor has over 188 acres of land in Georgia took about 3 hours this was the most fun and, stressing scenarios, I have ever had in years. Yes, I was one of the marines 2 tour vet alot of the X gang members would of been amazing soldiers. Made lots of friends that day.
Back in the day I used to play paintball. Our very first time 6 of us in a competition, went up against 6 Vietnam vets…We lasted about 5 minutes…Lol…We did eventually get better!

It was hilarious how many times one guy would slowly turn a corner, get blasted, then like sheep, others would follow, with the same end result! This happened over and over! 😂 But all that matters is you all seemed to have a blast, felt a little adrenaline rush, got to show off some military skills and unlike a real gunfight, everyone left there intact, aside from their egos! 🤪

So had a Marine Force Recon, myself being a DS and former 82 ABN and a former AF PJ went up as OPFOR for about 20 people doing a "pilot rescue" one time in airsoft...yeah they failed and we didn't loose anyone...they didn't let us team up again after that.
Impressive job there. It just shows the level of skill and training required to be an effective soldier. Anyone can shoot a gun, but to understand the dynamics, teamwork and tactics is where the real skill lies. I just feel for the civilians in Ukraine who were recently issued weapons. They'd be sitting ducks against a trained adversary. Thankfully it looks like the Russian's are having a hard time right now as the Ukrainian military is doing a good job repelling them, but in CQC the average civilian probably won't have much luck if the enemy is as trained as this. Better than nothing though!
Russia’s infantry seems to be a mix, some professional soldiers veterans of Syria and Donbass but many of them are young conscripts. Unfortunately, the guy above me is right and theyre moving into the phase where they simply level cities like they did to Aleppo and Grozny.
They (Ukrainian Civillians) may not be trained but they are defending which gives them a tactical advantage in a gun fight. Unfortunately the Russian Air Power and Arty negates that.

I have another experience. Lack of fear of death makes an airsoft player extremely efficient. One may suicide and take 2-3 real soldiers whose training is based on maximizing survival probability. Once we played 10-on-10 against real soldiers and consistently won them with less than 5 dead teammates. Although, we were not noobs, we had some experience with airsoft.

If there were two ex-soldiers and one entered the building at the end, one squaddie and a civilian were defending the house. The experienced soldier made sure the civilian was effective instead of a meat shield. Shows you having a single competent "leader" gives you an advantage.

This is why conscripted civilians with no training are used as cannon fodder and not actual threats against highly trained experienced fighters in wars.
I’ll say this there’s so many different situations when using real guns compared to air soft that I wouldn’t be suprised if the soilders are still even half as effective
