Nice explanation bro, just wondering the winding in series (starting winding) with the capacitor ,isn't the end of the capacitor will have to be connected to the live connection( Phase), sorry if i am wrong..🙏

My fan not humming nor turning. Replaced capacitor, fan still dead. Since black wire connected to neutral wire, i assume black wire is common wire. I unplugged and removed the 4 motor wires. I did continuity test as what you taught. My puzzled results is, why the common black wire reads more than 9Megaohm to other 3wires? Please help....thanks

Your hand touched the wire and that's why you got a mega ohms. Release you hands from it and you will get zero ohms

Hi brother, rewinding and bush modified ,to bearing 5 speed motor, dspu after run motor going heat and smell heat after checking issue shop are say motor is ok, motor are vibrating,again they say blowe issue,buy new motor,wefix back,now it's work fine,old motor same heat and take amp designed,any idea for this

Hi Great works and well explained , thank you , I have a question please , the fan on my heater is not turning, it is not stuck and turn easily by hand, I have test the continuity and there are no connection to body with Red and blue only to earth . the resistance between Red and Blue is around 183 Ohm(with multi meter at 200setting) , there is only one setting on fan with only three wires , I have connected the red and blue to main , the fan is not turning but getting warm/hot , I have also lubricated the turning shaft,
the fan is from my Biogeen Phoenix2.8 heater, the motor is 230v 50Hz 0.43A 52/12w -any recommendation greatly appreciated

what the hell are you doing? do you not care about the people that are going to watch this video and do this and get electrocuted because you're not even once telling them the danger of the live wires in their hands. of all reckless, unsafe and irresponsible ways to tell people to test a fan... 🤦‍♂️

I was getting scared looking at the demo. Using a multimeter resistance mode is the best way to check out including the body short.
