      Hey Coinhelpsme :) I can't find a listing for an error I stumbled across all except one post from a long time ago showing the same doubling from cointalk forums. I am trying to get attributed but was wondering should I go through pcgs and just hope for the best Or? Probably should have emailed you but too late I already wrote so much.. it is from a mint set thought it kind of relates

      @@kylekosmo328 If a similar example isn't found on CONECA or error-ref.com then it's not going to be a mint error, or it's going to be a variety that is too minor to add enough value to send off.

    Love your clarity-So I just heard that an 82 d small date zinc could have ddr and also a tilted memorial , none have been sold but 1 has been found, and the amount it could be worth is around 3000. 00 so I can't find anyone talking about these but I also have one with such features and possible d/d all on one coin. I'm gonna try and get some very good pics of this one and I will send them to you if I can. Again thank you for your trademark clarity, it's a blessing to us untrained subjects out here. I'm stoked for your channel. It's the only channel that shows and explains that there's several types of '82 Lincoln memorial cents. Because of your videos I purchased a scale yesterday. So, what should I do with the 1982 small date 3.1g. Lincoln Memorial Cent that I just weighed... ??? I've been in the hunt this past eight weeks and with only 10 penny rolls (almost grabbed my first box of pennies @ the bank, but the teller said they'll be new pennies and I didn't want it) and some pocket change that has given me an unbelievable discovery of rare pennies !!! The '82 I'm mentioning now was from one of the two customer rolls @ the bank. However, after I accepted the penny rolls the teller offered me a roll of the Washington Crossing The Delaware & I said sure why not. I'll go to my stockpile of pennies and grab the other '82 I've seen before. Mahalo and Aloha, Joey 🦘🌵🏄🎨🤙🇺🇸

    The small date D 82 Lincoln cent is what got me into coin roll hunting. I bought 4 boxes to go though and found the 7 you highlighted, but not the illusive D small date copper coin. I did find some that might grade out if the grader has had his correct amount of coffee and doughnuts, and no traffic issues on the way into work, and they aren’t behind on any of their bills, etc. LOL The whole grading thing needs to be way more objective than I’m hearing it is.

    Hopefully I'll learn day by day bc what I DO know I learned by watching all the TH-cam videos.🙄 I enjoy your videos and I thank you for explaining things in a manner where a "rookie" like myself, can understand😊 I've been known to give up on doing (New)stuff if I feel Overwhelmed BUT
    I plan to continue to educate myself on coins. I've been throwing coins in different jars/banks for over 30 yrs AND recently decided to (try) counting it🤔 THEN..came across a TH-cam video & instead of counting the change NoW I'm seperating & organizing AND..hoping to hit a "Change JackPot"

I know your vastly more experienced than I, and I recognize your mastery of the topic, but I would like to point out, maybe wrongly that, I didn't think the Zinc planchet was to be used until 1983, which would make any Zinc coin combo and date, not normal for 82 Pennies. That is normal unless it is a small date with a D mint mark.

    I think the mint could of made a mistake and forgot the D mint mark on some small date coppers what do you think about that is it possible

    • @CoinHELPu
      @CoinHELPu  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Since there's small dates without a mint mark it doesn't matter. Many of these were minted at the West Point mint as well but there's no difference in the coins.

    Good evening Daniel. Me and my son watch all your videos and think they are a great learning tool for amateurs like us.i was just doing some coin roll hunting and I came across a 1982D that weighs 3.11 grams but it certainly looks like the large date.my question to you is do these hold any value or is it strictly the small date that is valuable. Any info would be greatly appreciated, have a great night.

    Great video. I got a tough question for you. I'm new to coin collecting and I'm wondering what if you go into a store and buy something and the cashier gives your change
    back. But before you went into the store somebody went in before you had a collection of coins that they inherent but they just spend it like ordinary change but the person who left it behind had their coins cleaned and you get some of these coins and think damn this is a great find but then you decide to sell it and they tell you that this coin has been cleaned and you say not by me I just wiped off a little bit with some wipes and put it in a coin flip. It could cause a little bit of confusion. I'm just asking because some of my coins looks like new. Anyway. Thank You Daniel

    • @CoinHELPu
      @CoinHELPu  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      People need to realize that when I say that is a nice car, doesn't mean I think they made the car. So when one is told their coin is cleaned doesn't mean the dealer and accusing them of cleaning the coin.

    • @charlieglover491
      @charlieglover491 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CoinHELPu I didn't mean nothing bad about the question like I said it was a tough question. I was just wondering if anything like that has ever happened to someone who was new to coin collecting like me and going to sell a coin and that really happened. I was wondering if you would do a video about that. Thank You

    • @CoinHELPu
      @CoinHELPu  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@charlieglover491 I never said you did mean anything bad. People are too sensitive. New or not, just because someone says a coin you have is cleaned doesn't mean they're saying you did it. I guess I don't understand your question. This happens all the time. I don't see how I could do a video on people misunderstanding a dealer telling them their coin is cleaned even though they didn't clean it.
