    This video is simply, and absolutely THE very best 50mins I've spent on TH-cam in the last 10yrs! And I'm subscribed to over 600 channels of all sorts of content.
    As a humble PPL, and an electro-mechanical engineer, I wholeheartedly understand (some of) what it has taken to make this 737 sim cockpit. And to make it so that it is 'real' enough to experienced 737 pilots that THEY can't even believe it, is utterly amazing! Even more impressive that it is a fixed platform, as opposed to 6DOF sim. I just cannot speak highly enough of it, and you.
    You must be extremely proud; and rightly so.
    Regards Mark in the UK

      Wow, you just made my day!! Thank you so much, and I always try to improve the sim, in fact since that video it has improved a lot in stability, sensitivity and overall external graphics

    Congratulations for building a very high standard, working 737NG sim! We had a great time trying out!

      Alan, thank you so much for the time taken to test it. I hope you enjoyed, especially going around NY 😁. I have taken your feedback and implemented a fix, one by one. Next time the sim will be even better

      Hi Alan, I have improved the sim a lot, since your last test including in the controls sensitivity. We should do a follow up test flight soon 😊

    You have done an impressive job with your Sim. I noticed that both pilots were completely immersed in the simulation, even when you tried to call attention to the scenery. If it was a case of playing a game, you would of had a much easier time distracting them.
    I have had opportunity to use full motion stimulators, used to train professional airline pilots, for run-up & taxi training when I was an aircraft mechanic. It is a memorable experience and it is under utilized for training maintenance personnel in run-up, emergency and taxi procedures. Talking through the procedures used to handle an engine fire is no substitute for the immersion environment experienced in a real simulator, fixed base or full motion. (Note how they reaced to the roll back of #1 engine)
    I have had opportunity to fly B737, 747, 767 and A320 professionals simulators it's the ultimate rush for people who will never be airline pilots.
    Congratulations on your build.

    How lucky your kids must be to have such a significant learning experience with their dad! I'm sure they will grow up to be great engineers/pilots! Kudos!

    Awesome job on your 737 flight simulator cockpit build.

    Congrats ! Amongst many aspects, I was impressed by the clear and clean blending between two projectors. How did you manage to get this result ?

    • @alpasimulation5485
      @alpasimulation5485  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      There are 3 projectors, the blending is the same but I am having a slight problem with one projector where the brightness is higher than the other 2, giving the effect of not being blended. Anyhow, Fly Elise is the software for blending and warping..the rest is just playing around with Nvidia settings

      @kickoff3312 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes I know. It is now months and months that I am still struggling to get a good result with 3 projectors with fly-elise. Amongst difficulties, I am now having lateral projectors that are providing me some inclined horizons. It has probably to do with the perspective but I tried all configs without a something horizontal... desperate...any clue ? ps: I am on NVidia too thx@@alpasimulation5485

    Wow what an amazing opportunity to have two Pilots check out your new sim ,brilliant video and well done for building the sim to such a high standard , I’m on a similar journey fitting out a real 737 cockpit and if you don’t mind I may contact you for some help in the future.

    Im curious to know how you are using MSFS2020 in your business with paying customers as there is no commercial license available which means you cannot use it for paying public in a simulator?

    • @alpasimulation5485
      @alpasimulation5485  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don't, P3D is the one used..mfs2020 only for personal use

    Great video and picked up some handy tips.
    Mentioned dead zone on yoke where to be placed? Centre?

    • @alpasimulation5485
      @alpasimulation5485  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, sorry for the audio if not clear, I was testing a new camera. The captain mentioned that the yoke should need a little bit of dead zone in the center, so not to result in what's called "pilot over induced" error. I am working through all the tips they gave me, one by one

      Thanks for the comment, unfortunately $15k will only give you the shell, one seat only and some small parts
