This hobby can never go too far. I got the Airbus TCA Captain’s Pack, the Next Level Racing Boeing Commercial chair, a 4070 and 13th gen i7, and X-Plane 12 with all of the Toliss aircraft, Rotate MD-11, FF757&767, and Felis 742. I love this hobby
Sometimes putting a lot of effort into things can dull the payoff you get from it, but the enthusiasm you have for what you created is really great to see.
This is awesome! I’m a real life airline pilot and once went through the rabbit hole if building a sim. I eventually abandoned the project due to incredible complexities. I would love to see a written version of your build process. I may get back to this hobby!
Came from TheCarDoc. It always amazes me how the sim racing and flightsim communities are intertwined. I started off with racing and got into flightsim when I was younger as well. The motion platform is ideal for sim racing and flightsim as well. Looking forward to all your content man!
Thanks mate!! It's amazing so many of us share the same interests! being able to do flightsim and racingsim stuff keeps things interesting and adds variety to the hobby :D
I got started on flight simulator a long time ago. Went from XT to AT, 286, 386, 386 with math coprocessor chip, 486, 586/Pentium and all of the items up to now at an i9 with a 4080 and m.2 drives. All of my H/W upgrades were so I could fly at a better FPS. I want to build a cockpit. I just have to make it my next project. Nice setup, I like that chair. oh, I almost forgot, get the Fenix.
This is incredible man. Not just your setup, but the video is perfect too. I was shocked to see you only have 1k subs. I thought you were some huge channel. Incredible job, and I wish you much success
It looks more like something I could conceive of actually putting in my house than a lot of these elaborate sim setups. That makes this video kind of dangerous.
bro i started watching the video thinking this was a full channel with like over 500k subs, but no, this video is really good though, underrated asfk lol
Great video, definitely a very nice setup. I loved your description and your enthusiastic good-hearted mood It was nice to see someone loving something they have created. And thank you thank you SO much for telling me about Space Desk!!! It was really the software I was looking for so I could use my old phone and tablet to do some pretty amazing things with my gaming environment which includes Microsoft Flight simulator though I'm a relative newbie to that one. I Just got through watching a full 18-wheeler truck simulator setup that made me question if it was reality or not. You definitely have not taken it too far. lol
Stumbled on this channel and I love this guy, I think it's his enthusiasm, lol! With a super nice rig like this, I was wondering if you should get a head tracker, it might make things easier and more immersive .
Hi sir, with all that gear I recommend you getting the fenix 320. it behaves much better, looks better and if you ever want to learn a bit more a320 it goes into more detail. I know because I fly the real thing haha
I have actually just started my flight training as of this year. I have not flown since January for both financial and weather reasons. I just got Microsoft flight sim and built a computer that exceeds the recommended specs. I am not looking to create a full motion system, but I am using it to maintain all I learn during flight. For the price you spent on the sim, you could have gotten the license, at least in the US. Like the set up.
I sail in the same boat as yours. Wanted to become a pilot but could not complete my training. Now an engineer by profession. Those kind of system is my dream too. Kudos to you for coming up with such a beautiful system.
What a beautiful setup!! Looks really practical for a home sim, would love to imitate this to practice my checks! Please do share how you modified your trust lever quadrant bro😍

The one I saw on Amazon was for 13-27 inch monitors. As you said in the video, a touchscreen would be great for your setup.
I personally use joystick gremlin to combine the clutch pedal and throttle pedal. The brakes are too stiff 😅 maybe this is a sign that you need a clutch pedal

It is nice if you have a Racing or Flight Rig being that elaborate and I guess you have the money to do so. Most of us don't even have a Rig setup, just a steering wheel mounted to a table and a normal chair. It all comes down to Rich boys with their expensive toys. Take care.
I do work hard, long hours to be able to afford stuff like this :-) Rigs don't have to be remotely expensive to be fun, which is where I started many many years ago :D
Saitek has better controls for flight sim. They are amazing. Not really all that expensive. Doc flight controls such as yokes and throttle makes the experience more real. You will see as you get more into it. Take Care Doc have fun
just ordered a ryzen 7 7800 4090 founder graphics card 32 gig memory, cant wait to see the improvement from my i7 and GTX970 hope no more stutter, likw all your setup and you dont take it 100% serious all the time
That is a very cool flightdeck simulation. Now, get that pilot's license, and become a flying doctor. Just stay away from the Bonanza V-tails. (doctor killers). Thanks for the video.
if you think a big monitor is the best, you clearly didnt try VR yet. yes, you would have to get your controls into muscle memory, and sacrifice that iphone controls for ingame radio, but thats such minor tradeoff for FULL IMMERSION, its not even worth mentioning. Plus if you fly commercial planes, getting actual yoke for steering instead of joystick would add a lot too.
Love it all the money on the rig uses a freeware plane. But in all fairness it's a damn good freeware plane. I'm a 737 man myself but the flybywire A320 is good.
i can imagine being a bit painful sometimes when you are in your work as a doctor and cant wait to get home to your sim, would be hilarious you do a flight with your doctor cloths.

It is nice if you have a Racing or Flight Rig being that elaborate and I guess you have the money to do so. Most of us don't even have a Rig setup, just a steering wheel mounted to a table and a normal chair.
It all comes down to Rich boys with their expensive toys.
Take care.
I do work hard, long hours to be able to afford stuff like this :-)
Rigs don't have to be remotely expensive to be fun, which is where I started many many years ago :D
Didn't make it as a pilot, fell back on to a trade, nice one!
Saitek has better controls for flight sim. They are amazing. Not really all that expensive. Doc flight controls such as yokes and throttle makes the experience more real. You will see as you get more into it. Take Care Doc have fun
Very nice set up, could we see how the instruments work and how they are paired to the monitor!
I’ll show on the next video coming this weekend
just ordered a ryzen 7 7800 4090 founder graphics card 32 gig memory, cant wait to see the improvement from my i7 and GTX970 hope no more stutter, likw all your setup and you dont take it 100% serious all the time
That is a very cool flightdeck simulation. Now, get that pilot's license, and become a flying doctor. Just stay away from the Bonanza V-tails. (doctor killers). Thanks for the video.
That is one GREAT rig you have set up!
remember my boy, somethin like this can never go too far
Ohhh amazing setup dude :) just one question: GPU 3070 it s enough for 57 inch G9 monitor ?
if you think a big monitor is the best, you clearly didnt try VR yet. yes, you would have to get your controls into muscle memory, and sacrifice that iphone controls for ingame radio, but thats such minor tradeoff for FULL IMMERSION, its not even worth mentioning. Plus if you fly commercial planes, getting actual yoke for steering instead of joystick would add a lot too.
I’ve actually got a Quest 2 and a Varjo Aero lol, I also have the thrustmaster boeing yoke.. much more to come!
Use Quickmade QFCU, much better! More complete FCU and looks exactly like the original.
Love it all the money on the rig uses a freeware plane. But in all fairness it's a damn good freeware plane. I'm a 737 man myself but the flybywire A320 is good.
That spongebob eye cross meme is literally me right now between TheCarDoc and TheFlightDoc hahaahaha
hahaha thedoc universe
Love it! You have an awesome set up!
Thanks so much!
i can imagine being a bit painful sometimes when you are in your work as a doctor and cant wait to get home to your sim, would be hilarious you do a flight with your doctor cloths.
Wow incredible my friend, cant even imagine the cost!
