Yes it sure is, amazing how well it works for the low price! I took it out again over the past weekend at a different location. Thanks for watching Q101 👍
This is phenomenal for the price...I've been waiting for the price of underwater rc stuff with cameras on it to come down and be more affordable, dare I say it more 'off the shelf from your high street'. So far everything has been way too pricey...and finally its like underwater rc has caught up with actual flight rc /drones etc. Perfect little rov to take on holiday. Cheera for making thia vid mate....brilliant to see it in action and see how it all works. 👍👏👏👏😎
Yes I was impressed how fun and well it works for the price, hopefully other companies continue to make similar camera rc boats like this in the near future, I'd like to see some larger scale ones that operate on a transmitter for much longer 2.4Ghz range. Thanks for watching 👍
Picking one up to putter around the little pond in our neighborhood. I have wanted something like this but the price has been too high for anything like it. I could see a larger-sized upgrade with a true remote controller, like you suggested. Another cool feature would be if the camera could be lowered, even by a few feet. Maybe a corded mechanism where the boat stays on the surface and the camera can be lowered down in deeper water. Maybe I'll pick up two or three and tinker.
Cheers for watching mate, and yes I'd like to see larger scaled underwater camera boats like this with a transmitter and better resolution camera would be great.
Thanks Greg, it's good to see something different like this released for a change , fun little boat I think you will enjoy it. Have yourself a great weekend also 👍
Really cool.I don't see it handling very well in a lake with choppy water though which I'm sure we would love to see but again for the price, it's a really cool idea. You might get kids interested in something besides video games and maybe move on to bigger machines or possibly drones. I don't see anyone else reviewing this yet. Looks like you might be the first. Great video, wish we could've seen a fish or two or other creatures. Thanks for doing this review...so cool.
Yes exactly Doug, if it can get the kids outdoors and interested in getting off their phones or video games its a bonus. I plan to take this out to another lake or pond soon, hopefully i capture better footage next time, cheers for watching brother
This is amazing for only $20 Dave. I'm thinking about picking up one for the pool though with the pool closed I can't use it until next year. I had a Happy Cow Spy Tank years ago and it was also app controlled and it worked quite good as well.
It's crazy how cheap things have gotten now. When I was kid I could only dream about something like that I would have killed for one lol. I definitely will have to get a couple for my kids. One for myself to lol
Divers went in a Quarry here to search for a missing Drunk Man but they found 3 other bodies, not him. But cool for searching your local waterways but beware you might see a few skeletons along with cool old war finds like grenades, and UXB's , scooters and guns!😂😂
It’s the wrong time of year for gators, they don’t eat when it gets this cold, but I think I will get one and save it for the summer time, see what happens
Yeah i think it could possibly go further than 15m as stated, you just have to keep an eye on the Wifi metre on at the top of the app. The manufacturer probably just stated that so people don't take it out too far. I may try and experiment with a wifi repeater for extended range soon as well. Thanks for watching Sylvia
If you go too far it will lose range so best to keep it in around 15m or so to be safe and have a good connection, keep an eye on the WiFi indicator at the top right of the app screen
No I thought it was at first cause that's what was listed as part of the listing, but it sits on top of the water and the vents underneath fill with water to lower the body a little, the camera is just underwater
This is awesome! Question I have is: doesn’t it stay on top of the water or can it swim under water? Regardless, still freakin cool for the money! Think I’m gonna get one!
That's what I was also wondering but I think it looks like it is floating on top of the water. I'm also very interested in picking up one of these for the pool. It seems to work great
WiFi won’t go through water. Even if you have point to point WiFi to a barn or outbuilding, you’ll notice poor performance on rainy days if there are wet leaves on trees.
@@sparkplug0000 RC will work through water for a few feet but not far. They sell small toy RC submarines that are wireless but again they won't work very far underwater. Not sure, you are probably right about Wi-Fi though.
Thanks for watching Andrew, yes I would like to see a larger scaled version of this to be released with a long range transmitter like 150-200m range like most cheap rc speed boats have plus a better quality HD Camera and it would be a winner and popular for sure
Although I agree that the drone camera view looked murky, the water looked crystal clear through the land camera. I'd say the camera is crap for underwater use.
Closer to the shore the camera was much clearer and could see the yellow colour of the sand but further out it was quite green and murky. For a cheap camera it done alright I think, I will retest in another lake soon, cheers for watching mate 👍
the issue i have, with any of this cheap tech that use a phone app. Is that your phone is then compromised, by a company/country that created the App. This becomes especially dangerous, as time progresses. imho

Do they make cheap ones, less than 100, that go a little farther than 45 feet?
Not that I'm aware of
@@PERTHWESTOZRC it still could be useful and fun, and for 20 bucks it's not like an investment. I saw some for 500 but I can go snorkeling for free
What a neat toy. My 8 year old would love this.
It's pretty cool hey! Thanks for watching 👍
Isn't this thing so cool for $20?
Yes it sure is, amazing how well it works for the low price! I took it out again over the past weekend at a different location. Thanks for watching Q101 👍
Awesome little toy🤩 but i am more interested in the little Tank car😋

Thanks for watching John👍
What a fun little toy! Thank you for sharing this!

Thanks for watching, this would be idea for exploring water in Philippines 🇵🇭 👍

wow,cool little fpv boadt,awesome review
Thanks Duke
That thing is pretty cool Great review Dave
Yeah it's a fun little boat to look underwater! Especially for only 20 bucks.... Cheers for watching Will
I really like this boat Dave, you can't beat the price. Have a nice weekend. I just ordered one Dave, my first boat.
Thanks Greg, it's good to see something different like this released for a change , fun little boat I think you will enjoy it. Have yourself a great weekend also 👍
The concept is brilliant. Thanks mate, Enjoyed that.
I know right, pretty cool little exploration boat, cheers for watching mate 🍻👍
They should have a camera on the top too.
And honestly for kids it's perfect in the pool probably what is designed for give all the kids this and just sit there and relax
Cool little boat!! Great review as always‼️👍👍🦾🦾🤘🤘
Thanks 👍 it's pretty cool indeed, have a good weekend
Until a big fish sees it and likes it😢😢😂❤
Found it on Amazon for 2x as much under a different name. Losbenco RC Camera Boat.

$45 on amazon thanks for the review

0:32 OK, I was skeptical about this right from the title. "Does not have a transmitter" Fail number one lol

Nice video man, dope little toy 🛸
Cheers man, appreciate you watching.. yeah it's pretty darn cool hey. 👍
nice looking gadget mate!
It really is! Thanks Mike
That’s quite impressive for the price m8
Yes i am impressed how well it works, thanks for watching mate 👍
I may have missed it, but it doesn't look like it can submerge below the surface, correct?
Exactly it does only drive on the surface while the camera is underneath the water taking the footage
Cool~
because of you i just bought one in the us and got it for 17.99 usd
Cool
Omg I’ve been looking for submarines or really anything with an underwater camera and this is perfect great vid btw!
NO FISH!
No not any more in this pond, there was a few years ago
Can you adjust the depth?? Or does it just cruise at one depth??
Very cool, but where I live a gator would ear it up!
Where about in the States you live....Florida? Cheers for watching 👍 🍻
@@PERTHWESTOZRC yes in central Florida, but it dies look like fun!
That would make for great footage.
It’s the wrong time of year for gators, they don’t eat when it gets this cold, but I think I will get one and save it for the summer time, see what happens
Don't take it Catfish Noodling! They'd eat it, probably spit it out after though.😂😂
Does it do saltwater?
Yes it will run in salt water, just make sure to wash it out in tap water thoroughly afterwards
@PERTHWESTOZRC thankyou!
For 20 USD what can go wrong? And if anything does go wrong it was only $20. Thanks for bringing this to my attention! A must try.
Yep exactly, it's so affordable it's no big loss if something does go wrong, thanks for watching and commenting 👍
The biggest issue for me is the very limited range. I understand the limitations at this price.

Always baffles me they put such small batteries in them, up that battery.
How far is the range? Thanks for a great video.
They claim 15 metres, but I had it out yesterday a bit further than that
@@PERTHWESTOZRC tha k you for the reply and info.
No problem, thanks for watching 👍
That's mad for 20 quid .
Yes pretty cool hey, cheers for watching mate 👍
what happens if you go to far does it return to home
If you go too far it will lose range so best to keep it in around 15m or so to be safe and have a good connection, keep an eye on the WiFi indicator at the top right of the app screen
Did yours come with extra propellers??
@@kathygramlich don't think so
so is it submersible?
No I thought it was at first cause that's what was listed as part of the listing, but it sits on top of the water and the vents underneath fill with water to lower the body a little, the camera is just underwater

It stays on the surface. The camera is on the bottom, so it's a couple inches under the surface.
Stays on top to allow transmission to the phone.... underwater would require a direct umbilical line to transmit signals.

I wonder how far it goes before you lose control and gets taken by a wind/current.
It’s gone to the twilight zone cuz
Where did you buy this?
Aliexpress, check out all the links in the description and pinned comment above, thanks for watching
It's hilarious this is cheaper than the 'bathyscopes' that are just plastic buckets with clear bottoms...
Can it dive under water or just drive around on the surface?
I am wondering the same thing…
Nevermind found out it stays on surface
@@headsethero7640 ahh man that sucks, but it explains why it works without a cable..
Yeah just drives on top of the water
Can it run upside down
No don't think so
Ok ok ok
Looked up on Amazon was $40
Yeah cheapest is from the links i provided, amazon will always be more expensive
Any similar tec with HD output ?
Yes but professional underwater drones cost in the thousands of dollars 💸
Attached to rec boat drag it behind
Yeah good idea mate 👍
Doese it have a zoom lens?
No don't think so
Maybe on the app itself
For $30 Australian it’s a bargain , it would be good it there could maybe upgrade the camera and battery I would pay $100 for it,
Thanks for watching Andrew, yes I would like to see a larger scaled version of this to be released with a long range transmitter like 150-200m range like most cheap rc speed boats have plus a better quality HD Camera and it would be a winner and popular for sure

What if it's crock food?
I lost a drone in the water maybe I can use this to find it but it was a creek so i'm not sure how well this can swim upstream.
Useful for finding bodies..lol
You can use data to use on your phone
No it doesn't use any data, just WiFi from the boat to your phone.
$40 for us in canada
Yes it is around $40AUD now also, prices have gone up since I purchased one and made this video, thanks for watching 👍
cheap fun the submarine range 6 mrts $25 eeh!
dangles a cheap go pro on a fishing rod hello fishys
15m they claim and I was out a little further than that, I guess it all depends on your phones WiFi signal strength
You said it didn't have a transmitter yet it was clearly sending back live images. What?
Transmitter as in a remote control, this runs off your phones WiFi to control it
the issue i have, with any of this cheap tech that use a phone app.
Is that your phone is then compromised, by a company/country that created the App.

Is Aliexpress legit?
Yes of course, I buy off there all the time and had no issues at all
Hell yeah, I have bought lots of stuff only issue is astoundingly long delivery times with most vendors.
I would be bored after the first fifteen minutes, and put it away, with all the other e-junk in my drawers.. But fun for the kids im sure.
how the hell you getting that for $20 ? over $200 here
