Yeah, I can't stand modern Weather Channel. It has succumbed to reality TV and garbage reporting. I have my WeatherStar 4000 Simulator with a few of these songs when I want a forecast lol.
I was born in 90 and for some reason hearing this song brings me back to when I was 4-5 with my parents at the mall on a sunny day. I gotta thank this track for creating that feeling for me.

Every time i watch the Local on the 8's i mute the current background music and play this thru my computer speaker system epic nostalgia hits every time.

Repeatedly played during the gigantic blizzard of 1996 with record breaking snowfall from DC to New England. Have also heard this track referred to as Thundersnow!.. Those where the days!

Ahhh, this one was on one of TWC's Spring or Summer playlists in the early/mid-90s I believe. Life had so much more meaning back then; or at least I perceived it to, which was enough :)
This was another music that popped up on local on the 8s in the 90s when I was still in school. I had no idea who the artist was then and the name of the song now I know. It used to play on there to describe the weather forecast for the Houston Metro area and we would have the eas ticker whenever we had bad weather in the area.
Ah all this is from my childhood. I'd fall asleep listening to the WC music while resting on the fresh clean and warm bed sheets or comforter after mom got them out from the dryer

Ah, I remember jamming to this one back in '96 whilst having TWC playing all day. Totally has a Bruce Hornsby "Just the Way It Is" jive to it.
I like too picture when the weather channel would call for freezing rain with a low:23&a hi:28! and that music be on the local on the 8's!😂🙂💯
