My fiancé however is the one who taught me how to hunt and fish, although I’ve never shot my own deer. Hopefully someday… but I’m going to be 51 this month.. so that hope dwindles with every year. Never take the life you’re living for granted. I’m looking forward to watching you raise any kids you might have like you’ve been raised. ❤ Sorry for the rambling post. The excitement of shooting a doe is so amazing. So much more relatable than other hunting shows that are disappointed if they don’t kill a 200in+ buck. The experience and the meat and all that goes into making that happen and retrieving it means so much more than the antlers.

Great Stuff!! I love the fixed broadheads. I was having the same trouble with flight from my crossbow. No matter what, it consistently dropped to the right. Now, my broadheads are only three blades, but I bought some 1/4 inch O-rings and I put them on and it allowed me to tighten the broadhead so the blades could line up with the fletchings...and presto!! Lol...it worked!! My brother did the same with his compound bow, it worked for him as well. An older gentleman told me about it while buying broadheads at BassPro. Good hunting on the rest of your season.
I've seen enough recorded doe and buck hunts to choke a horse but will still watch to support Sydney and barstool doing sweet outdoor content! Great job all!!

Something I dont see now a days , what we called goggle-eye perch , use to catch them in all the mountain streams when I was very young. I've fixed up 3 ice fishing rods with bait casting reels, 20lbs braided line , where they'll cast well . All are 2 piece , carry in a messenger bag very easily. Id like to revisit those mountain streams , I bought a ruger mark 4 because I wore my old mark 2 out before it was stolen , try reliving my childhood years . But on a 4 seat 4 wheeler and grandchildren

Yall need sniper and assassin for bees and bugs. 4 week residual. Great shooting, better then me at 65. I only use fixed blades, just drilled a doe in the heart at 45 yards Saturday morning with out ranging her. Hope my little girl grows up loving the out doors like syd
Ive a female friend here thats my sons age , she loves bow hunting, and gun , she hunts everything also, use to hunt with her dad before he passed away.
Do you use certain spices on a fresh kill if you want to eat it the same day you shot it.? And another thing I did one time ..is I got my deer then I hung it for a couple days ...then I cut it in four pieces put it in the freezer ...and froze it solid.. then I pulled it out and cut the whole thing into 5/8 of an inch thick steaks on my band saw ...and I was done in 1 hour .. then I boiled some in peppered water and cut into them until the meat was Gray and put salt and pepper ...and they're so good you can't stop eating them. As soon as that red meat turned gray... you get them out of the boiling water.
Congratulations great shot, you have to love a well placed arrow. I have never hunted from a tree stand, have back issues and have only hunt from the ground. I miss hunting have not been out since an injury to my left hand, was wondering about the bow your father is using. My question is I have never used a trigger release, can the bow your father shoots be drawn with your fingers. I really love traditional archery any bow suggestions been out of game for a few years thanks for any help keep up the great work

New subscriber. I didn’t know that you had a TH-cam channel. I watch all of your dad’s videos. I love fishing with ultralight rigs. I have 3 and they are pretty much all I use now days. Bluegill is my favorite fish to eat followed by crappie and then catfish. I enjoy strippers when I get a chance to catch some. I’ve never eaten any ocean fish mainly because I’ve never even seen an ocean. I’d love to go deep sea fishing one day. That’s a nice fat mature doe, she will be some good eating.
