Average golfer not gonna spend that kind of money Problem with golf is the equipment is too pricey

It is a lot of money, but I think you underestimate the lengths of which average (and below average) golfers will go to improve their games. I see a lot of bogie golfers hitting $400-500 drivers and playing Pro V1s.
