    If you want to spice up those grips you can rit dye them different colours because of the cord. I do mine in black for a cleaner look

    A great video suggestion would be putting on a bgt shaft on a LAB DFP 2.1!

    Once the tipped section is glued into the stability shaft. Can you remove the tip like you would a normal shaft with heat or will the end of the stability tip be ruined. Thinking of having a few putters with an 8” attachments already and swap out when I want

    I didn’t receive the gauge or black tube with my stability carbon shaft. How long is the black tube piece? I’m putting mine on my Scotty Futura 6M. Thanks? I’ve heard 9 inches for steel section in lieu of having the guide plastic section.

    I have the stroke lab 10 s . I hate the counter balance but love the head. Prob just gonna put a steel shaft in it, is the bore size a .370?

    I noticed that both builds have a very 'snug' fit with the shaft and hosel. Previously I did a stability reshaft on a toulon (plumbers neck)and the fit wasn't snug. There was a little play in that the shaft was barely able to 'sit' when plugged into the head. I propped it against wall with some bricks so it didn't move. After the epoxy set, the putter lie angle was off by a couple of degrees. My question is there a trick you have when my situation occurs? Is using a shim even suggested on a putter? Thanks again! :D

      Depending on how loose the fit was, you could have used some shafting beads to fill a slight gap. Both mine fit perfectly snug, but if you were cutting down a Stroke Lab shaft that could be the issue.

    When installing straight into the hosel.. Why doesn’t the tip come installed into the shaft already? Is there a purpose for this?

    • @theputterdepot
      @theputterdepot 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      In case you want to install it with a tip section that isn't straight. It's covered in the second half of the video

    Curious as to why you didn’t prep the inside of the putter hosel or golf shaft ?

    • @matthewmansholt2827
      @matthewmansholt2827 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      #1 it would be very hard, #2 I believe there are already grooves inside the shaft for the epoxy to settle into, therefore no prep is needed.

    • @Gramkan

      50 years since Jack was winning majors, 50 years prior to that people were using hickory shafts 🤷🏽‍♂️
      I bet there was someone in a 1920s newspapers saying how overpriced and ridiculous steel shafts were

    so they just used callaway design to make this shaft lot cheaper to just buy the callaway shaft

    • @matthewmansholt2827
      @matthewmansholt2827 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      this is nowhere near the same thing as callaway. Callaway uses the graphite shaft to lighten the shaft and distribute weight in other areas like the putter head and grip. This shaft is the same weight as a normal steel shaft but super stiff. That means less head twisting on off center hits.
