I think the reason why we didn't see Cruella form more into the fur loving villain is because I believe this was meant as more of an alternate timeline where its one of those "told from the point of view of the villain." Kind of like what they did with Maleficent where she wasn't as evil as she was originally portrayed.
@@user-oc7dl9or8f it's actually quite evident that this is a different timeline. There's a lot of details that makes this movie divert from the animated version. yeah, I always saw Maleficent, Wicked and Cruella as not so much 'behind the scenes/what really happened' stories but original stories with some similar characters (which has been done in the fairy tale world a lot).
It's pretty funny when they always seem to cast Emma Thompson in movies with another younger actress named Emma is that like something in her contract XD cuz you know in the Harry Potter films where she played trelawny the professor of the basically tea reading and b******* like that which her money thought was f****** ridiculous Hermione was played by Emma Watson

Not only did Glenn Close serve as producer to this film, but also uncredited executive consultant to Emma Stone. To be Cruella, need to learn from the original herself!
Here's some tea about Emma Thompson who played The Baroness: Thompson's first husband was actor and director Kenneth Branagh. They married in 1989 and proceeded to appear in several films together, with Branagh often casting her in his own productions. In September 1995, Thompson and Branagh announced their separation; they cited their work schedules as the reason, but it later emerged that he was having an affair with actress Helena Bonham Carter. But Thompson and Carter have since come to an understanding and become friends. While neither have spoken to Branagh since.
Honestly the most underrated character of this movie is the Butler he could have killed Cruella but instead gave her to someone who could keep her safe
Apparently those moths cocoons didn't need to be painted, that breed just naturally are that colour. And it's easy enough to sew them into a dress if you know which place to pierce.
The local Cruella is more similar in character to Harley Quinn, in contrast to the 1961 Cruella, which was colder and more short-tempered and more reminiscent of Azula.
Cruella I was a villain. She was born as Estella but Cruella has always been there inside That's why I love her does not justify to us what she does She's just crazy and I love it! She has always been like this and she will do anything even to murder for her plan to work.
Emma was great as cruella and I think it’s awesome that Glenn close was the executive producer for this because she brought her to life more than anyone else did

I love this movie and I wanna be as brilliant, as bad and a little bit mad as Cruella when I grow up🔥 I was as shocked with the revelation as you when you went, “apple doesn’t far very fall from the psycho tree, doesn’t it?”😁
The scene where Estella is watching tv in the hotel room.. they’re playing a scene from a different movie that inspired Cruella’s laugh in the original 101 Dalmatians!
I watched this for the first time myself about a week ago, safe to say I have a hardcore crush on Cruella...or maybe Emma stone...or maybe Emma Stone AS Cruella? Or all three? Probably all three
Disney did a incredible job of Villian to be a protagonist. I wish Madame Mim from Sword in the Stone and Yzma from the Emeperor New Groove and Hades from Hercules to be protagonist.
This movie was above and beyond great. Would love to see you react to the other live action 101 Dalmatians, with Glenn Close as cruella. Thank you again for the reaction!

She’s doesn’t hate dogs, she has a dog in the live action 101 Dalmatians too. She wanted to use them for furs and when they fought back it gave her ptsd per say (in the second one we see she is actually psychotic and uses special therapy to make her normal until Big Ben turns her back)
I very much enjoyed this film, especially the fashions (The Red, Garbage and Dalmatian gowns were my favorites) P.S. If you haven't seen it yet... you should react to the original film adaption staring Glenn Close Her role as Cruella will send shivers down your spine. She was that good.
Hope u caught the end credit to the movie, its basically Anita and Roger being gifted a Dalmation puppy each, Pongo for Roger and Perdita for Anita, hence the creation of the original 101 Dalmation movie and what will be the follow up to this movie, also Roger is now a musician after being fired as the Baroness lawyer and u hear him play on piano and sing the very famous Cruella De Ville song...its a cool Easter egg by Disney.

I always accepted this movie as the "real background' of Cruella and the 3 Dalmatians/coat event as the origin of the myth that Cruella tried to steal puppies to make a coat, ie. she never actually did that.
A few years ago I didn't like Cruella de vil very much but over time I grew to love her, not because she likes turning dogs into fur coats but because she is a great and amazing Disney villain. And I am happy that they made a movie that shows her back story.
