Is one thing rose always does is shout out his gf! I respect him for that cause she's been there for him & supports her man with yugioh. It would be nice to see her duel inmo, maybe even a ba deck of her own & both of them compete against each other to see who would reach further lolz. Would be fun.

Against backrow heavy decks like altergeist, paleo, or true draco, did you decide to go first or second if you lose g1/g2?
Always 2nd; can't attack turn 1.
So you went blind 2nd all the time right? did you ever have situations to where you wished you had a hand trap in the main and not have to side for it? got a regional coming up in a couple weeks and i love your theory on the deck, but i just can't wrap my mind around not playing a pure go second deck without any hand traps at all in the main. would love to hear your side of it, thanks!
Hand traps are weird, they make us feel 'safe' when we open with them going 2nd, but for the most part they only take away 1 thing from whatever the opponent is trying to set up, whereas another extender could just play through that interaction. Something like Droll can be an exception to this, but risks potentially achieving nothing.
If I play only cards that 'do' something then I will start every game with 6 actual pieces in my hand. Sure, some of them might not be optimal, but it's certainly better than looking at a hand where too many hand traps had been drawn, leaving no live play. At least if I have multiple Kaijus I can play the Kaiju beat down strategy.
Sucks if you play against FTK, but otherwise it's decent.
MrThomez interesting, so going forth from here would you main hand traps now or keep all the 7 kaijus in? I really appreciate the response! And if you did main any hand traps, would you do a 2/2/2 ratio or 2/2, and would it still be pure go 2nd?
Depends how much FTK you expect to play against. I still don't think hand traps achieve what the deck is aiming to do, but they may be necessary as the only effective counter strategy against losing before you even get to play.
MrThomez to be honest I don’t think there will be too too many, it’s a regional here in Texas and I’m thinking aroun 250-300 if it’s like it was in the past, sure the FTK will be there but I don’t think it’s going to be rampant like pendulum ftk was. Out of 8/9 rounds I’m expecting to “maybe” see it twice, if even.
In NA hand traps are much more relevant because of summon sorceress, definitely worth considering them for a format where Warrior decks will be popular. This build only works effectively for the rest of the TCG.
So turn one does he still go cerb/phoenix into mermaid with Beatrice? Or just use underclock taker with Beatrice?
I chose 2nd, but if I was going 1st I would still use Mermaid.
so because i wont get Tsuchinoko because of that price atm, ist it worth only to run 3 jackalope or is there a decent alternative to the Danger!-Engine?

Jackalope definitely isn't worth playing without at least 1 Tsuchinoko. But as Chris says, if you have a look at decklists from YCS Utrecht and Mexico City you can see alternatives.

How do you beat altergeist? Our worst match up...
Hydralander and Dark Armed are great for dealing with Altergeist, even under Floodgates. Trisbaena is also huge if you can resolve it.
Why do people play non ba's if the burning abysses die if another type of monster is on the field
Generally the plan is to special summon BA cards from hand to make a play, then follow up with non-BA monsters afterwards. By that point the Malebranches are no longer on the field.
Have you considered swapping some Kaijus for Droll in the main? It's pretty solid against Sky Striker and Gouki, great against Thunder Dragons, Draco, and the odd Trickstar/Invoked match-up, and actually game-ending against Danger Dark World
Droll certainly can limit your opponent's plays, but unless I'm facing an FTK player I generally don't care. I'd rather just let them resolve everything then use my cards to push back and win the game as quickly as possible. Droll doesn't help me push damage.
@@MrThomez Following that logic, wouldn't it be sensible to stun the opponent for a turn (Not being able to search the anchors, make a complete U board, play, etc) so that you can break their board and/or push for damage more easily on your turn?

Gallis the Star Beast and Danger!? Jackalope? can both be summoned by rescue cat in the deck.
How was not having ash in deck as im trying to fine tune my deck and trying to work out should i run them
Ash Blossom isn't the most important card at the moment. As a hand trap it doesn't stop the Danger FTK, which is the worst thing you can come up against at the moment. If you want to play hand traps it'd be better to choose ones which are effective in that match up.
Thats fair my worry is getting my ratios right as well as not focusing solely on 1 deck as i've done that before and suffered for it
Well been debating cutting handtraps all together from main deck but worried how defenseless i'd be when going second
I chose 2nd every match without any hand traps. Unless you're playing against FTK it doesn't matter.
