widow is actually better in your own turn, chance to take and open up more opportunities for damage, it would be played in addition to not instead of anchors if it was played

Its crazy how his deck is so similar to mines. For the exeption of i run more cyber dragons and i run the new sky striker spell that bounces back opponents monsters to the deck. I run 45

Yes! We were all flying home today so couldn’t record, but the video should be up tomorrow evening.
I honestly can’t wait for Trickstars to become an actual deck and not an engine filled with Sky Striker cards and hand traps.

Can someone explain to me why he is not playing any Rae? Does he only go in Skystriker Linkplays with that Hornet Drone?
Ideally the deck aims to normal summon Trickstar Candina as much as possible. As such Rae doesn't synergise as well as the rest of the striker engine.
@@TeamKuribrohs I tried that deck yesterday at a local and your answer completely confirms my experience yesterday. I came to the result that 2 or 3 Raes are too much but 1 doesen't harm the deck at all but also there is no big effort with 1 Rae in that deck. Thank you for the answer 🙂

This guy came 18th in YCS London last years German champion Joshua Schmidt has came second
Ping came 18th after the Swiss rounds of YCS London. After Swiss, all players in top 32 play single elimination play-off rounds (commonly known as top cut) through top 16, top 8, top 4 and the final, until a winner is crowned. The official result that everyone accepts is where a player finished in these single elimination rounds. Ping won all of his single elimination games until the final, where he lost, so as a result he came second at this event.
Also, Joshua Schmidt came third at German nationals last year. Tayfun Bayraktar won that event with Trickstar Sky Striker 😊

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure if you use widow anchor on a Sky striker monster chain link 1, then opponent uses eagle booster on it chain link 2, then you chain widow anchor chain link 3, when it resolves the monster will be taken when chain link 3 resolves and then return become it is uneffected by everything including the second widow anchor when chain link 2 resolves, then chain link 1 widow anchor will fizzle of course. So what was said at 2:47 doesn't seem correct.

Lingering effects that are already applying aren't removed when the affected monster becomes unaffected by card effects. It's an understandable confusion but Ping is indeed correct in this instance.
@@danielneville7150 A while ago I played a game against ABC and my opponent had abc dragon buster on the field and he used b-buster drake's effect on the field to equip itself to abc and in response I chained widow anchor with 3+ spells in grave to take his buster and it was ruled that widow anchor would take his buster and then buster would equip and return to his side of the field. So I take it that ruling was incorrect.

It doesn't clear an already established board, which Apocrypha does.
Their special summon effects aren't fusion summons.

this guy seems really cool. Trickstars suck ass lol but seems like he just Widow Anchor/ Mind Controlled ppl to absolute death. has to be a good player to go this far with Brickstars

it was already mostly in that zone, so it was in that zone, ambiguity favors the opponent
