All these months later I still dont know why Connor didn't just complete the firewall loop
He coulda done the Firewall + Lilybell loop game 2. Thomas would've gotten to go first in game 3 tho and he probably would've been able to setup naturia beast or something so I doubt it would've mattered anyway.
he did but i don't understand how he was convinced that he couldn't, because he was "losing" more lp than thomas, the commentators keep saying that conor was losing 1400 for each exchange, i've been thinking for almost a hour about this but i still don't understand
Jonathan lycoris is at 1600 vs Beatrice which is 2500 so it would be him losing 900 and Thomas losing 1k each time. Not sure where they were getting the 1400 from
i know now!! it wasn't a math problem it was a misplay! conor played lycoris in the wrong zone! he should have played lycoris to the zone firewall dragon points to but he didn't, you can see thomas reaction to this misplay 29:00, stupid commentators got me confused xD
i could not place lycoris in the same zone as lilybell , cuz the bounce-to-summon effect of lycoris isn't cost , so he should summon lycoris and THEN take lilybell back.
He can place lycoris in the right position and win the game.
Game 1, he had the firewall otk and missed it, and could play through a snow if he'd kept the 2nd lycoris in hand. if he linked candina, goblin and lycoris, thats just the firewall otk, and he couldve bounced the lillybell if thomas tried to snow it.
Liam Talker had 2800 atk because it pointed to beatrice at that time. He would have taken more damage than Tom

Welp game 1 should've made borreload and steal the decode to make a link 4. Oh well
Didn't Thomas cheat he can't use Beatrice in the same turn it was summoned

If lycoris crashes into Beatrice, that's only 900 when he was dealing 1000. He should've won game 2.

What? Lycoris could only deal 2000 total. Firewall couldn't bounce. There was no way to deal 6200 that turn. Stay in school.

Duelist Alliance edit: Yea, i just got there. He had the Firewall lilybell loop. He had game in g2, i dont know why he was told otherwise. Just look up the combo on TH-cam. He had it g1 but misplayed.
