I definitely swear by Plast-X. I've used it to polish all sorts of Joe canopies (even the red one from the Hiss II). It won't make them look like brand new or refurbish highly damaged pieces, but it will get results on typical play wear. I also agree with how you did the peroxide treatment. I've read accounts of guys buying cases of hydrogen peroxide in order to submerge their large parts, and it's just not necessary. I recently reconditioned some Terror Drome doors and I just stuck them in a gallon Ziploc baggie with about a half inch of chemical in the bottom of the bag. Laying them out flat for eight hours in the sun, the bag expanded from the gas the peroxide lets off. It made the doors it look like new.

I used Colgate Toothpaste on my HAVOC a couple years ago. It got rid of the fog but left minor surface scratches. Great Channel!

Hiss tanks have for me at least some of the foggiest canopies of any vehicle I come across some are pristine and most others I run across in the wild are so fogged up they are almost solid looking. The worst are yellowed terribly but can still be fixed, I play Warhammer, Warhammer 40k, and other mini war games when I buy Lots of minis off E-bay some have extremely poor paint jobs to say the least. Well I use brake fluid (just the cheapest you can get is fine) to strip the paint off of them it works safely for plastic, metal, and resin miniatures. I had the bright idea to try an extreme example of a yellowed canopy and after about 3-4 hours it looked good as new! If anyone trys this method I assume no responsibility it is up to you entirely. I do wonder if this will work on yellowed white plastic like Storm Shadows or Stormtroopers I dont have any at hand to try but I will as soon as I do, if someone trys a yellowed figure out let me know. Havocs and Skystrikers are pretty common for bad foggy canopy syndrome as well.

Abba Dabba oh for sure. I've had a couple 80s hiss and a skystriker. both ended up having some foggy scratches.

I use floor polish on chrome parts to protect them against rubbing.
