i always watch these "easy" hairstyles but they NEVER work because my hair is so slippery/smooth and it never stays like that if the hairstyle is like loose or messy :(
Saga Williams maybe putting some dry shampoo into it would help it to be less slippery!

I don't know how your hair stay that wavy. When I try to do that, it doesn't take 30 seconds and it is back to flat AF. At least, there's never knots in it. My hair is so thin. I hate it.
I agree. NO amount of time spent on curling/waving/flattening my hair stays--even with any kind of product! My friend runs a beauty school, and said some people just have hair that gets "too" clean when it is so fine. She suggested that I needed to damage the cuticle (coloring or perming can do it), but I didn't feel I wanted UNHEALTHY hair. So, I have fine baby hair.

I have fine curly hair, so my issue is the opposite. Washing it every day makes it hard to style, due to stripping all the necessary oils. So to cure that, I Co-wash on the day that I need to style it. Hair spray, frizz creams like Garnier stuff, dry shampoo really helps give it texture. DONT kill your hair just to style it..I'm not sure if vitamins help, but they are worth a try.

Wow--you are the first TH-cam demonstrator that seems to really understand how to do your fine hair. I have hair like that--and none of the things they suggest work, or they only work if I try all sorts of different products on them--products that damage my hair.

Why does the hair colour matter? Lol. Thin hair or thick hair or curly or straight all make a difference but I really don't see how colour would matter.🤔
@@itskelss883 it's hard to see the texture of the hairstyles on a dark hair so sometimes the hairstyles don't look as cute on my dark hair in my opinion

Yes no braids!♡ Let me tell you how many times I'm like "yeah this would be so cute" and then on me... shit just ain't cute :v My hair is legit so fine curls don't stick no matter what I do
braids can definitely be tricky sometimes lol! I try to mix it up :)

I had a bottle of Redken hair thickener, that stuff is amazing, if you curl your hair everything is twice + as thick.
You're so lovely and give us thin fine haired ladies hope!!! I'm curious if you've ever done tape in extensions. My hair has been falling out like mad bc of a recent weight loss and it's getting desperate for a remedy!!
I have actually never tried tape in extensions, but I've been curious to try them in the past. I use clip ins pretty often because I like being able to take them in and out myself, and then you don't have to wear them every day either. From what I've heard the tape in ones aren't as damaging as clip ins and they last for a while if you take care of them!
Have you tried not washing your hair? (Research the "no poo" method. That was THE key for me. I have fine hair and when I stopped washing it regularly, I actually started growing new hair ALL OVER MY HEAD. It was AMAZING. I totally recommend it.

@@ani0989katy1589 Not often. Mostly if I've been camping, had my hair colored or have excessive build up of product. Maybe every 2-3 weeks? I will co-wash with conditioner only and use apple-cider vinegar on my hair (same PH balance as hair). I love it.

I really suffer with this thin hair because my cousin even my parents , my siblings and my friend embarrass me because of my thin hair im really depressed and tired hearing those thins i really aappreciate the effort u put in this video it really helps me at least i found good hairstyles that i can use ❤️

I improved mine a lot with biotin shampoos, sulfate free and biotin 10000mcg pills as well. I use treatment for hydrating ends, such as argan oil and there's one loreal product too (small two colored liquid one). Look for non oily products, wash every two days and always use a hydrating mask twice a week from mids to ends. All these tips worked wonders on my fine hair. Hope it helps!

Hey! I'm a new subbie. Fellow fine thin hair girl over here 😩😩 I love your hair and you are so good at doing hair. Question.. do you recommend any certain type of hair tie? I've always just used the thicker brown or black ones nothing to them really but I've recently began wondering if there is a better option out there!? TIA
I've just been using the thinner black ones but at night or when I'm at home I always use a scrunchy!

Finally someone with hair like me! Mine isn't super fine..but it's gotten that way with my thyroid problems lately. Mine is almost to my butt, and I'm getting it all chopped off to just past my shoulders next week!

I think you have thick hair on the upper part of your head. I have much thinner hair and I could never do up dos because you can se my scalp trough especially on the sides

I wish people don't think fine = thin. My hair is thick and fine. Each strand is very small and silky so it's hard to work with but I have plenty of hair

I'm thinking about trying hair extensions so I can have longer more voluminous hair once in a while. What are your thoughts about clip-ins vs halo-type hair extensions? Thanks!
I've used both! I actually prefer clip ins I think because You can add as much or as little as you like whereas the halo ones you don't really have the choice. Since I have fine hair I like just adding 2-3 wefts of clips so it looks more natural. Both are great options it just depends what you prefer :)

I feel like it's hard to find hairstyles that work well with my hair haha. My hair is very fine but it's always very frizzy, no matter the treatments for dry hair I use. I also have a lot of hair for someone with fine hair 😬😬
Buns never really work, bits of hair are always falling out or the hair tie slips a lot. Bobby pins don't sit very well and my hair still ends up super loose. When I wear low ponytails my hair ends up super knotty after sitting against my back all day at school and high ponytails give me horrible headaches. Braids are pretty good but I don't always have time for braiding and my hair gets knotty so easily I have to stop in the middle of a French or Dutch brand just to brush it.

Finally!! Hairstyle I can actually do AND like.... one question tho, does your hair become flat throughout the day? Cause that's my biggest problem... is there anything you recommend doing, something to fix it so it won't become so flat at the top and reveal my white scalp (not cute)

Love them all but haven't tried any yet! I'm so lazy and stick to side braids but need to switch it up! I see a lot of comments regarding extensions and saw that you said you sometimes use clip ins, what brand do you use? I've never bought any but I want to!!!
I've used a bunch! I've tried Luxy, Milk and Blush, Hidden Crown Hair, and the ones from Sally Beauty Supply. Since I have really fine hair and don't wear them that often the ones from Sally's are usually my go-to! They have really thin clips so they blend well with my hair and it's not too much hair either so it doesn't make it look like I'm wearing fake hair lol. What hair products do you use before doing your hair? What kind of shampoo, conditioner, gel, etc?
I try not to use very many products! Lately I've been using Aveda shampoo and conditioner and I'm loving it so far. I don't use gel, but I use hairspray now and then (any brand I have on hand) and I love dry shampoo :)
Do you use the dry shampoo actually as shampoo, or do you use it as a styling aid?

How do you create the volume on your scalp though?
I have really flat hair and when doing these hairstyles my hair often look greasy just because they're pulled back flat and I don't know how to put up some volume there and keep it.
If I backcomb it, it will fall flat again within 30min :-/ Do you use any special product?

Use talcum powder to give volume. Works for curly hair. Do not know if it will work for straight hair
