Portuguese King was under the authority of church. Hindu/Indians massacre/conversion happened during Vadcodagama period and his subsequent visits. This is even before appointment of viceroy by the Portuguese king.

Hi James. Thanks for the feedback. This is a very short video and to be honest we have left out many of their trade activities in Africa, Ceylon, India, China and in many parts of Asia. Our idea was to give a short intro to the Portuguese empire and how it was built and stabilised. So unfortunately we had to leave a lot of stuff. If possible we’ll try to do something about it in the coming days.
