A small clarification - as usual our next video will be a continuation of the ww2 series and the one after that will be about the Portuguese colonialism.
Why our schools are not teaching like this! 😢
He has the Brutal side. But in our school books , he is the hero.
What books should we read to know more about this history and all

Mikka nandri, Gab Bro. You said Vascoda Gama was brutal. The truth is the fittest would survive despite all theories and dogmas of goodness, godliness, divinity, etc.

Sir we want history of pandyas and cholas
love u nnaa😍
Very good narration. However your route simulation shows travel through the Red sea directly extends to the mediterranean sea. Those days there was no sea passage (until Suez canal was built) directly from Red sea to the Mediterranean sea. There was a overland passage from a Red sea port to the river Nile. From there goods were shipped to the Alexandira port through Nile and from there shipped to Venice and possibly to other mediterranean countries.
Love you sir ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥
U r way of speech so nice na

Portuguese - port peoples
What about ottaman empire??
how to do they communicate ? In any particular language or in Sign language ?
Arabs were translators. They knew Malayalam. Later certain translators were posted from both sides who learned Malayalam and Portuguese.
Raja raja Cholan was already trading with Europe and had a Navy so he would have been the first person to travel to Europe via sea from India to Europe
There was no direct sea route to Europe until Vasvo Da Gama discovered it. Before that goods from India was taken to a Red Sea port. From there carried overland on camel backs to river Nile (Egypt) and transported via river Nile to the Alexandria port on the shore of Mediaterranean sea. From there by ship to Venice. Arabs were controlling all these routes. Portuguese discovered a complete sea route to India bypassing the Arab controlled route.
WW2 please
Bro, what about the ancient history? They says about Greeks & Roman’s had trade with pandiya kingdom???vasco was not the first one. But he one of those around his life time
Gama was the first to reach India from Europe via sea. Romans travelled via sea and land.
My mistake… sorry about that bro… & guys who follow …. I do really apologizing for my mistakes!!!!….
I really forgot those Greeks & Roman did came through flying & traveling through land…. I totally forgot that. So sorry about that’

Arabs knew Malayalam. They helped first. Later both Portuguese and Malayalis learned their languages each other. You can see that in film Urumi.

If he is the first person to reach India via Sea! Then how come Romans traded with Tamilakam in ancient India! How Marco Polo travelled to Tamilakam and Jaffna in Medieval period?
They travelled through Red Sea. It was not was entirely via sea. Game came by a direct route around Africa. It was a direct route from Africa to India.
@@letstalkhistory Yes they travelled through Res sea! Romans came up-to Yemen and from there they might have used sea route to reach Kerala! There are plenty of European should have travelled even before Vascodagama via Sea! At least through coastal routes! Vasco Da Gama chose to circumnavigate around Africa and reach India without crossing Red Sea because at the time Ottomans took control of Red Sea route and closed it for Europeans !
@@letstalkhistory Isn’t the title misleading! It should have said first European came to India directly from Europe Via Sea!
Yes many might have travelled before Gama but as of now there is no evidence to prove that. As to why he chose to come around Africa, you’re right they had to avoid ottomans and we have talked about it in detail in the video.
@@aalampara7853 sorry I dont get you’re point. The title says exactly that. The first European to come via sea.
Kunjalikale patri pesu
Even before 2000 years, Romans & Greeks traveled here to trade. So Vasco da Gama was certainly not the first European.
Yes he was not the first European to come to India. But he was the first via sea.
@@letstalkhistory No. They too came by sea.
@@musicstaroffl No Arabs traded with Malabar region. Roman coins arrived here.
Europeans were called 'Yavana' in ancient Tamil Nadu. European women were among the imported items of Pandyan Kings.
@@musicstaroffl Yavana is Greek. Its in Malayalam also.
