2024 Tesla Model 3: Why It's RESHAPING Tesla's Future

- Tesla did it all on PURPOSE! The Model 3 needed to premium up if it was going to be the mid-range Tesla. It's was all done in order for the tesla compact to be introduced at a lower spec, but without the new Model 3 stepping on the toes of the Model S. But it doesn't just stop there, as I discuss how the refreshed Tesla Model 3 will influence project juniper, aka the refreshed model y. This is a little overview as to how I see Tesla's future off the back of the Tesla Model 3's successful launch.

Interesting thoughts on M3 moving up in stature in the Tesla lineup. Sounds logical, provided they actually come up with a “budget price” EV.
I agree on the MY upcoming refresh matching the new version of the 3. That makes sense going forward, just like when the Y followed the 3 way back then. And it’s intriguing to consider your thoughts on the future of the S.
Tesla is an interesting, dynamic, and tough to forecast company. They always keep everyone guessing!
I find Tesla’s ambition is unrivalled! Sometimes predictable and sometimes not. Its the bits that we can’t predict that we love the most I think 🙌

Apart from nicer rear lights, better aerodynamics and thus range, I don't see any upgrades. To me they're all downgrades. No more indicator and gear levers (and indicating with buttons does just not work on roundabouts). The interior material looks incredibly cheap, including the led strip. The fog lights have been removed, making the front look cheaper as well. Want the black paint job? Gotta pay another thousand in 2024, whilst it was free in 2023. With some other incredibly interesting EV's on the market now, where I wanted a model 3 a couple months ago, I am more keen to explore other options now.
Thanks for your comment. At the end of the day, you will buy what makes you happy Tesla or not. However have you considered test driving it? Online perception to physical perception can be totally different. Especially if you are comparing say Brand A/B with the Model 3. Colour cost wise, it’s different depending on your location. In the UK, Pearlescent white has always been the sole free colour, all the other colours have come at a cost. Different manufacturers do exactly the same even charge to have standard features like heat pumps that come standard all Teslas now. You just have sum up your perfect spec and compare with your other alternatives to see which one is definitively more expensive.

Model S has to step up in quality (rattling free) or simply die off. Yes it is powerful but at the price range there are plenty rattling free EVs to choose from.

@@AdamWellinformed why should I? Can you give me a good reason? In clime zones where you have 4 seasons with +30 to -20, heat pumps are dying very happily even at 20K km odometer. At first it was a hunch that maybe 2021 Model 3 facelifted had a defective heat pump from factory, but it was same for 2022 and 2023. Tesla did not change anything underneath for Highland so same questionable design for heat pump. It has a life span of 2-3 years at best and out of warranty costs is the range of 3,5K EUR. Model 3 Highland, follow model s plaid in terms of solutions and interior materials, Plaid S still creaking and squeaking. Model 3 at least has its place in terms of price among other ev’s and ICE cars and the only threat it has is Model Y at the moment.
