Brilliant job solving and explaining as usual Mr Puzzle! For next time, the rectangular 'peg' can also be inserted upside-down in the later stages to avoid it re-locking each time you insert it 😁
Machinist here. Square corner holes like the one in the bottom piece are most commonly done with a broach or a wire cut EDM machine. There are other, more labor-intensive ways, such as small files and stones.
I've been watching your channel for a long time and you always amaze me in solving these puzzles with ease it seems.. its amazing! Love the channel! Keep on puzzling 😁
This is a very intriguing puzzle. Each solved step is a cliffhanger, because I want to know what will happen in the next solving step. That makes your solving process so interesting. Also interesting to watch you explaining the mechsnism after solving the puzzle.
For me, when I removed the bottom element (the rectangular piece) the pin holding the swinging component just fell out. I just put that pin in the top, tightened the bolt, and had the brass ball. Is that not an intended solve? Kinda disappointed I missed out on having to do the last few steps. Although I did end up doing them before finding this video just to see why there was a cavity around the bolt at the top and to get the most for my money 😅
Absolutely love Felix's puzzles. I was very much looking forward to seeing you solve this one after seeing Felix post about it on instagram. The simple design draws you in but after seeing you solve it, it seems anything but simple. Also the machine work and finish is on point as always!
@@Mr.Puzzle Well I bought one, and yup, had to cheat. taking away any of my comments as now that I really know how things work, yea, its very very very hard but it is entirely doable.
Well done! This was a neat puzzle; I think it would be slightly easier to understand if you are able to hold it in your own hands and angle that large hole on the front, it’s tricky to present that to a camera.
Even broken down my mind is blown and hurting 😆 I do understand it somewhat but once it’s all closed my mind goes blank. With it being disassembled it does make more sense. Id love to get one but don’t have the money I do love the look of it though. I want the Kepler one as well. Perhaps a Christmas gift
I’ve received this puzzle yesterday. After 30 minutes or so the square centre came out. I centred the silver ball and popped the centre back in thinking that a magnet would draw the ball out. It’s been almost 3 hours and I can’t draw the centre out again and my fingers hurt! Taking a break from this for a day or two.
@@Mr.Puzzle thanks for replying. That’s good to know and I’ll be trying again today. Too tempting to watch your video but I want to solve it without help!
@@Mr.Puzzle I need a clue please! I’ve worked out how to retract the “key” together with the silver ball. I’ve pushed the silver ball into the bottom compartment. I can balance the brass ball on the screw and push the silver ball back into the middle compartment by screwing the screw. As the brass ball can’t fit through the screw hole my guess is I need to get the silver ball under the brass ball and push the brass ball into the middle compartment. Am I on the right path as I can’t work out how to get the silver ball under the brass ball!? Thanks 🙏
@@Mr.Puzzle could be done a bunch of ways including plasma cutters... Not that versed in metal cutting, but I do know that triangular drills do work on metal
Sorry but this is the worst explanation you have ever done. I can hear you’re excited but I can’t follow your description of the solution at all. Sorry

Oh yes! That would have made it so much easier! 😅
Amazing Puzzle again Felix
Honestly one hour to solve this crazy puzzle is simply outstanding. Kudos Mr Puzzle, and kudos Felix for your puzzle, truly amazing stuff here 💚
Wow what a amazing solve, impossible for most people.

I'm so looking forward to try this one!! Felix's creations are always amazing
Enjoy!

Simply incredible build and a wonderful fast solve. This would have broke my brain
What the hell, the brain behind this puzzle, and the solver 🤔 fantastic explanation thank you... just what we all need in these crazy times .... ✌️
Thanks! ✌️
Lovely bit of engineering. Great solve and explanation as always Mr. P.

The mill work is fantastic on all these puzzles
Thank you for taking it apart and explaining the mechanisms. So cool. I love all the machined puzzles. They feel very good quality
My mind is blown. How does one come up with such ideas?
1.5kg of brass? What a puzzle! I wish I'd watched this earlier, turns out I was missing my regular dose of happy German. Feeling better now!
6:46. I do believe I heard the ultimate Puzzle Master in the background!
😊👍
You are a Puzzle Master my friend. Well done, again!
I bought the Titan...the fact that it took Mr Puzzle ten hours tells me I have no hope.
😂
I fully understand 😀😂
@@Mr.Puzzle Well I bought one, and yup, had to cheat. taking away any of my comments as now that I really know how things work, yea, its very very very hard but it is entirely doable.
How do you get it back in the starting position
Love the content flow, keep it up!
Thanks!
Can you please do a video explaining how to put it in the starting position so I can solve it again

Yes, in reality there are more details visible inside as on camera.
This one is so amazing.
Amazing solve once again thanks for sharing.
Thanks, Herr Puzzle! Kinda miss your intros, but not a big deal. Great solve as always :)
Unfortunately, I do not have the time at them moment to record intros. Maybe in the future again.
Crazy stuff!
This one took me about an hour. I went in blind. The last stage was awesome. Much easier than the Titan which blew my mind.
💀🎈
They should design Locks.

A reaction video for all your "eureka" moments would be lovely. *hint hint* :)
This Really was a Trip! : } thanks
👍
Luvly. Now let's get back to the Impossible planet puzzle!😈
Hello, do you send some product to Portugal ?

It seems you solved it randomly the first time. It is possible to open it any time without luck.

@@Mr.Puzzle I worked it out finally! Great puzzle. My favourite Felix Ure so far!
u are brilliant and fun!
Excellent
Square holes are cut with triangular drills
Not in this case
@@Mr.Puzzle i mean, it's a through hole, could even be punched out, sawed, scraped, etc.
Usually they are cut with square broaches.
@@Mr.Puzzle could be done a bunch of ways including plasma cutters... Not that versed in metal cutting, but I do know that triangular drills do work on metal
You could probably do most of it on a mill and then finish off the corners with a broach or file.
Nice Video dude
When he said yahhhh did anyone else think of crack kid lmao🤣
Callin it, it rotates around the seam along the bottom
I don't understand the mechanics even after opening the puzzle.
I have no idea what just happened...
😂
He explained it very well, but I understand what you're saying. I simply don't see puzzles as clearly as Mr puzzle does.
Gg
Sorry but this is the worst explanation you have ever done. I can hear you’re excited but I can’t follow your description of the solution at all. Sorry
Tried to explain it as detailed as possible. Did you watch the explanation in the end including the disassembly? I thought this was very clear.
@@Mr.Puzzle oh perhaps I didn’t. That was stupid of me. I will go back and see if I can get a clearer understanding. Please just ignore me.
do you have videos of solving the other three puzzles?
