If there is a time when you don't like your kids, you need to step back and see that everyone is at one time or another un-likeable. That is the time your kids need you the most. They need your encouragement, your prayers and your unconditional love. Love and pray constantly.

What if your teens are unteachable and impossible to discipline? What if you don’t like your teens?

I'm learning that often times I don't like them (their behavior, choices) that is normal in parenting. Just keep on loving them🤲🏾❤

"If you don't like your teens, just keep liking them. It will all work out."
That answer is dumb and completely devoid of substance, similar to giving a half faced smile. It's useless.
The truth is, if you don't like your teens them YOU need to do some self learning. You need to figure out what is wrong with yourself. Teens aren't vindictive and if they are, they learned it from somewhere. You're an adult and a parent, so get over your pride and self righteousness, admit your fault, and serve your kids as Jesus serves you. If you don't like them, then it's a symptom of not liking yourself.

First of all read well before you respond, like and love is different. You will always love your family but there could be days you struggle to work together (like them) has nothing to do with “self love” problem which is such a new age idea and NOT Biblical. That was not a helpful or kind respond from you. 🤦🏽‍♀️

@@huttonje not totally true. They have their own will, personality, desires, and if they are rebellious to the point of effecting others in the home....its not always the parents that you can point the finger at!
