I think that this song is accompanied by the best drop sequence. Every drop sequence has their own song, which makes it so you can tell which drop sequence you will be recieving. I like that.

I’m a big fan of the tower of terror and I appreciated this ride. It was such a good concept and having rocket host it with the music in the background were smart and enjoyable. I also HATE rides like this but I forced myself on and enjoyed what I could haha

To answer the question a bit fully, it is the same building. The entire outside was repainted and almost fully redesigned, and the inside is almost completely different (not layout wise). I think that this is WAY better than ToT
The ride is perfect and is a nice adjustment to DAC but, this song does not match the Guardians if the Galaxy. Only good music belongs in a Guardians of the Galaxy ride or movie. Disney messes up on this crappy song, should’ve picked something better.
Unlike TOT, there's no good storyline, you're looking at random snippits of different fight scenes from start to end, so there's no climax, there's not a real effort to integrate screens, way too much going on, you can't easily follow it, not up to Disney standards, seems rushed.
I can sorta agree with you on this. Yes, it's an extremely chaotic mess with little integration between scenes... but maybe that's what Disney was going for. Many of the scenes end on a cliffhanger of sorts, as it plummets you down before you see the rest. This ride focuses on thrills. In a way, it's saying "all this crazy action is happening, you're just not here to see it." I'm not saying that it's good storytelling, but I don't think you're getting what Disney was going for.
This ride is the definition of cheap thrills. All for the Marvel bucks. Tower of Terror was a perfectly crafted production from start to finish. It was your own twilight zone episode that unfolded again and again. This is just a rushed re theming that has no true Disney magic.
Aurora Andrews Tower of terror in disneyland was not good at all, disneyworld's moves through before dropping you, and guardians of the galaxy is great because it doesnt need to move around, just go up and down

Me and my girl go to Disneyland almost every week, maybe we will try this out in a few months once the initial crazy lines die a little, but wow, it seems very underwhelming. Not impressed in the slightest. Hoping this ride will ease some of the other lines in the parks though
SO um how was ToT terrible in any way. Honestly the best drop ride in the world. It may not be the fastest or the tallest, but it delivers the most airtime, and is by far the best themed. Also the four TOTs are the only drop towers in the world that technically are elevators. But honestly I can tell that you are the type of person who prefers thrills over theming and that's OK. So you can go have fun on your 5 second long lex luthor drop of doom and stop comlaining.

That was super underwhelming... only upgrade from ToT is the randomized drops. Other than that, that kinda... sucked.
