@@Shanes_Shed Yer it reminded me of how bad the td42t manual I had was in a GU the gearbox was perfect until I changed the oil, then the crunching started to happen real bad from 1st to 2nd... I fixed it by dropping the oil and added VMX80 that fixed that issue, food for thought if you ever get gear crunching
This is 1 of those rules of thumb to service the new vehicles when you get them
Lucky for me the patrol hasn't really done many km's since I've owned it.
And on the plus side, the rear LSD was giving a bit of a shudder under load while cornering - thats all gone now.
Some good tips you have given there that I've known about for ages, good reminder though, how filthy was that crap that came out lol nice work mate
The manual trans was bad, I was surprised it shifted so smoothly
