The first frost claw site you mentioned, I actually came across it with a frost claw, clawstriders, and apex fire claw. I was not prepared for that battle so I ran away lol

1)you are so underrated i honestly love these videos 2)there is an unmarked frostclaw site. approximately 250 meters north of the bulwark, there is a site with canister burrowers and fire clawstriders. If you kill them enough times a frostclaw will appear. It is a good site as the forstclaw cannot reach you with melee attacks (it is a small valleyish thing, walls rise up on each side and you can kill it that way)
The animations in this game is so amazing. Every angle is covered, every position. And they arent simple swipes and spins. Nope. Devs made me poo myself the first time i had a frostclaw launch itself to try and sit on me.

I realized this really late but the Fireclaw is MUCH bigger than the Frostclaw. I initailly thought of them as different elemental versions of the same machine like Bellowbacks in the first game. I think the reason is that they arent seen next to each other
If you need sac webbing, theres a merchant that sells two pieces but I forgot which one 😭 Theres also this quest in memorial grove where you collet all the audio logs from the crashed planes. The quest giver has also some frost claw webbing.

Always thought FrostClaw's harder than FireClaw, it looks more... agile? I don't know, sure, FireClaw does packs a punch. Still, I think poor frosty needs more recognition, poor bear :/

Aside from the shellsnapper and widemaw, the frost/fire claw is my favorite machine design in the game

In the hills near the Tremortusk there is another spawn site, where Frostclaw sometimes spawns with more machines
I’ll have to check it out! Still finding new stuff to this day because of the random spawn sites

Imo definitely fireclaw is harder as the brittle syaye is a way more powerful Elemental state compared to fire
One is mid-weight the other heavy so definitely fireclaw with its massive hp pool
