Every marriage will go through this stages..."1. Dream 2. Drama 3. Dilemma 4. Discovery: invest in knowledge and a mentor 5.Depth"... Pst Sue Munene. Many marriages are founded on Dreams and sometimes that may not sustain or go for long because when reality hits then many are not ready for it. In these case, When we only see the dream and not ready to deal with the past which may bring drama then we are not ready for it. We may say age is just but a number but if one is not ready to handle the other stages then you are in for a serious Hardwork for it to work. I hope we are not setting a precedent for the future generation. May God help and reveal to them His Will and Purpose as he so desires.
The precedent is set the wrong way.Reminds me of the Nigerian actor Regina Daniels who married Ned Nwoko an elderly fake business man as a third wife while her own mother Rita Daniels married a young man half her age.Guess what happens during family meetings.🥱.
I think we should first accept our generation and stop always saying that we are doing everything for the next generation this has become almost as an excuse coz we have failed to put our own generation and we are already putting everything on the next generation and this has been repeatedly done coz even the generations that passed also used to say we are doing all this for the next generation and that's why we are not seeing much change positively coz we have to live for our generation not the next one.

This show Lynn is has opened my eyes ,I thought I'm done with love,I met a PST older than me n nilikuwa nimelenga a young man younger than me I chossed the older one tho we met on Medea,n I wasn't in Kenya,he went and met my kids done the intro between his kids n mine,later i was called by a lady asking me what I'm doing with her husband,she called me names n i i was innocent, asking him he told me he was just after peace, he wasted my time two yrs in relationship ignoring pple knowing I got someone,I thank God I talked to my kids n they understood me , n I give up on love ,waa hii imeni encourage, thanks Lynn Ngugi God bless you,more love from here gulf,team strong pitieni hapa na likes

Some marriages with age mates end up in pain, betrayal, violence and depression besides the worst. If someone can bring you lasting peace and stability the better for you. We cannot live in misery all our lives yet there's no rehearsal . Live happy and go to heaven happy

I know what you mean... however, Happiness should not be the ultimate goal of marriage, but rather unity is. Unity requires the daily decision to love. Unity is part of the “working” at our marriage. It is the constant striving to achieve oneness. Why there are so many people divorcing especially in the west is when they stop being "happy" or "inlove", they quit. You can't be dependent on anyone to make you happy.... too much pressure.

I think people are just happy at how the two are vibing. Its so rare nowadays to see that [without it being ati mtu amechukua bwana/bibi ya mwingine] when people see it, no matter the age difference, people just celebrate it.
While a shared experience of trauma can create a strong connection between two people, it's important that both partners FIRST prioritize their own individual healing and seek support from mental health professionals as needed BEFORE JUMPING into a new relationship while carrying the baggage of the past relationship with them, lest it turn out to be a case of "trauma bonding" (i.e., for lack of a better word)
Yes Trauma bonding is very common. I mean everyone has their own way of healing from past relationships and counselling is amazing but may not be for everyone. It's simply important to heal I totally agree.
I'm blown away with the love these couples. And this give me hope that one day I'll get the live of my life. Actually I was that person who finds it so difficult to getting in to another relationship for the 3rd time with kids aged 23,18 and 6 . My prayer is one day God will locate my true Love .
Don't deceive yourself, let them settle down together and reality will dawn. An older woman cannot respect a much younger man for a husband. There will never be peace for thet boy in this union. He is too young for that woman

Even though personally I can't be in a relationship with a man who's age is below my mine, I still believe that Love is Love. And if it is ok for a full grown man to be with a woman half or less his age, then Nobody should judge a woman for taking the same path. Happiness or true Love is not easy to find. But when you do find it in someone special, then you have arrived at your Happy Place where you belong.

Imagine nko kwa balcony just busking during corona time I wasn't going to job but we were half paid and I was living alone so nlkua kwa balcony na yy pia alikua kwa balcony a different apartment, so he greated me and he was like can I come we busk together I didn't answer but he definitely came and thats how we became friends we started cooking supper together and eating together having fun together together and boom 1yr down we became one and blessed with a bby gal!
