So this match was pretty meaningless. -They could have at least given Iyo the pin. She is the #1 contender after all. But they aren’t even pretending like she has a chance. -Rhea’s booking hurts the division. I’m a fan, but ste is booked so absurdly OP that no one feels like a threat to her. Like here she gets hit like 7 times with baseball Bats. And then just gets back up and pins the champion 5 minutes later. It’s ridiculous. It really feels like if you aren’t Rhea, Triple H is just not that interested in you. Anyway the US Title match was a lot of fun. And I liked that they are seemingly booking Nakamura as a legit threat again. The IC Title match was awesome. These guys have so much chemistry together. I want Sheamus to win that belt before he retires and Kaiser is one of the most underrated on the roster. Gunther vs. Priest was very good as a match. But I’m not sure Why I am supposed to care about seeing Priest vs. Finn again? Priest beat him as decisively as possible already. The Men’s WG was very good (and it shows how lazy the women’s storytelling has been by comparison). It feels like everyone in the match (aside from Tanga Loa) got a chance to shine. I was a bit surprised that there was no angle after the match though.

It’s almost like people don’t like when women are stars because any woman who’s booked strong is somehow “ bad for the division “ Rheas the stone cold of the women and for that she’s gonna win most of the time. Another point about the Wargames fatigue: we haven't gotten a traditional Survivor Series 5v5 tag match in years. Having one of each would add variety rather than forcibly bookending the ppv with Wargames matches.
That's certainly not a bad idea. If they are patient with this story, then they could create so many great moments. Allow that to happen so they have this 'alliance' and slowly let it crumble due to Punk's relationship with Paul Heyman.

I thought it was good enough to show my daughter (who has seen a couple of women's PPV matches over the next year and a half) and we had a great time with it.
