13:42 - 1260P has only 4 P-Cores. The only CPU in those that has 6 P-Cores is the 1280P.
Otherwise nice overall rundown
You are absolutely right! Thanks for correcting me. Pinning this!
Nice review. Eyeing for this laptop. More videos to come 👍🏼
Thank you!
Cool video, great work! In regards to your issues with the touchpad while typing - you can turn off the touchpad with the button next to volume up. This could help with the palm clicks if you are using an external mouse but still using the built in keyboard. :)
Thanks for the suggestion. That does work. Just not a great place to rest your palm though ;P
Very good review man awesome job 👍 Appreciate you covering this.
Thank you!
Watching this review from my msi evo prestige 13, you sound crystal clear. Thanks for the review. I have the white model, the appearance is stunning, performance is great!
That's awesome!
Hi what is the battery life of 13 prestige? Aee you happy with purchase ? used to have PS42 2018 and was disappointed by built quality and small battery
great review! compact 14" and light! good enough for most but power users might want more huh.
Yeap! Thanks, Harry.
👏would also love to learn more about lenovo slim pro x
I will put that on the list!
Do you recommend this one but with i7-13700H or the summit e14 evo with i7-1280P? Thank you!
Those two are meant for very different purposes and applications. It will have to be based on what you are looking to do.
seems like the best laptop for me, i prefer 14" over 15.6" for its ease of transport and for being lighter, also i like it has RTX 3050, Idk why many manufacturers does not put a dedicated card on a 14" laptop?
It does consume more power if you put GPU. That's why this laptop has much less battery life compared to the ones without. So, you just gotta find the right one for you :)
Is it enough 5 or 6 hours without no plug for office work and is it overheating? Thanks!
I think that would be over it's edge in terms of its hours.
What about prestige 16 studio with mini led? Is it possible to review that
I will keep that in my list!
would you please give some information about OS? is it worth to upgrade this system to workstation OS?
I've just had Windows. Not sure what is the workstation OS you are asking about?
so soldered on ram means it can't be changed or replaced i take? or if it fails...
Yeah. You will need to source the entire motherboard if that's the problem or need to upgrade.
Can I connect my 1440p 144hz monitor to it and actually enjoy those 144hz? Because currently I got an old laptop and I can only get 60hz on that new monitor.
You might be limited by the cable and the port you are using. And I am unable to confirm if that bandwidth is possible with this laptop.
I got this laptop whith i5-1240P, 8gb ram, RTX 3050 and 512 ssd
For 600$
Is it good for that price or should I return it, I will be using it for 3d modeling and simulation (in Mechanical Engineering programs) and some casual gaming
Any thoughts?
I think it is quite a reasonable cost. As to if it is suitable for use, you can run some tests and determine!
can it handle heavy. challenging demanding video editing tasks?
Perhaps not heavy loads.
Why does it need 180 flap down lid?
I don't think you 'need' it. But it is nice to have as I find myself using laptops standing up where I need it to open up a lot.
Shame there's no ram upgrade. Thanks for the heads up.
No problem!
I usually turn the touch pad off, I hit too much.
Yeah!
