I’m going to make a suggestion... Before that I want to say great job very clear instructions and pretty clean recording. I think after this video even a novice mechanic could install this on their truck. I even appreciated the safety that you covered. As you know every vehicle is different and there are always little tricks that make it easier to reach your goal. My recommendation is that you practice on the other one have it nailed down then shoot your video. I also think it is important to stress a clean and organized work space. Keep it up bro I’m subscribing to your channel.
What other upgrades have you done to this truck I’d love to see some others.

Not trying to be a smart ass, but i do this in 10min each side by just prying the bottom of the shock with a pry bar and inserted the leveling block in place. Didnt even have to put a lot of pressure to the shock. Done plenty of trucks that way. No issues.

Can I do that with a 4wd truck

Just bought a 23’ Silverado exactly like this(all black everything 😍), and I’m in heaven! Traded in a 20’ Ranger I bought in March that turned out to be too small for me. I’m not a mechanic and I’m new to owning a truck. I’m going to take my truck to have a leveling kit installed by a pro. What is a normal rate for this? I know it varies but a range would be helpful so I don’t get nailed. Great content 🔥🔥

Just finished an install. I could not get upper ball joint separated. I just removed the CV axle from the differential and removed the steering knuckle. This gave me enough room to do the install. Took about 20 m inutes on passenger side. The drivers side took much longer because I could not get the upper ball joint separated. Just thought I would share in case anyone has same issue. Truck looks perfect with 2 inch front lift.

BEST WAY: It took me 1 hour to do both sides. Don’t take off the tires you don’t need to. Jack up the truck on the frame. Get the wheel off the ground. Pull the two lower bolts under the strut. Undo the sway bar link. The tire and will drop. Put the spacer in. Get a pry bar and put a strap around the strut now put the pry bar in the strap and pull the strut in line and put the bolts in. “DO NOT” put the bolts in from the top side because you don’t need to. Put the bolts in from the bottom up and put the nut on the top. Tighten the two strut bolts and use a bottle jack to raise the A-arm and get the sway bar link back in place.

I have a 2020 Sierra. I forgot to measure before installing my kit but it came out to 37.5 AFTER the install. And 37” in the rear. I just added 1” blocks to the rear of my truck and now I have 37.5” in front and 38.5” in rear. Does anyone know if the Sierra comes lower than the Silverado from factory? My truck is 4wd X31 (z71) package as well. Thinking about swapping my front 2” kit to a 2.5” kit from motofab.

Nice truck! I have a 2020 silverado rst. O saw your truck was 39" in the back 37 3/4 in front but when you finish you had it at 39 1/2" in back. Mine is 38 1/2" in back and 37 1/4" in front. Adding a 2" level would that make the front way to high? Thanks

I am intrigued listening to you fellas. Now my 19, Silverado LT, 4x4, 1500 measures at 37-1/4 both front and rear. I see all this stuff about leveling it and I’m like. But it’s already level?? But yours sits a bit higher in the back for some reason.

Great video!!! Chevy must have did something different in 2021. My Silverado LT 2wd is 36f and 39r. I like the fact that Sky Lift blocks have a 5 degree taper for the strut angle but you pay for that verses other blocks are not tapered for $40. I’m ready to lessen the rake on mine with a 2” block this weekend.

I'd put $20 that if the CV joint is rubbing, the block was installed with the bottom of the U toward the outside. In other words, the block is in backwards. Perfect view of it at 12:15 in this video.
