5 MUST HAVE FLOUNDER RIGS - These Rigs Catch Flounder!

  • This video goes in depth into how to catch flounder and fluke using several flounder rigs that work amazingly well at catching flounder and fluke in almost any condition. These are the only rigs you need to catch flounder and the rigs that I personally have used for years. Inshore fishing for flounder can be tough and with these simple flounder and fluke rigs you can get out there and put more flounder and fluke in your boat.

I live close to Gulf Shores & although I started out strictly surf casting, over time got to where I enjoy the jetties and inlets a lot more, looking for flounder. I like being able to fish the same tactics for the most part and just adjusting weight for the water column & strike zones. Love saltwater jig fishing!

Great video! I love #4 Carolina rig...I use 1/2 or 3/4 oz. If it wont work than the current is too strong. I go to my next spot. 8" to 10" is perfect length leader as well. Last week in 2 days I caught 35 or so flounder in the same spot. Damnit Jim! I use 2/0 kahle hooks and love em. Used to not set the hook on circle hooks and lost a bunch at the boat when they would spit the hook. . Lol you know your stuff bro! Not a fan of artificial. Flats jig is same as Bucktail?

this is fantastic and I certainly agree, but the video assumes people either already have all these rods and reels or are able to afford them. But what if you cannot or are on a budget? That’s me. I just gotta retie every time. I definitely plan to get more rods and reels but decent quality combos run at least 200 USD from what I have seen. And, so I am stuck with my one rod and reel, currently.
