As an o12 vanilla player with most of Caledonia I’m a bit sad. But I seem to now magically almost have a full combined and nomads vanilla list (- some Tunguska and the combined tags) so getting a bit excited that way. I think it’s going to reinvigorate the game and am willing to have the collection shook up if the on table experience benefits!
I appreciate the effort you've put in here. As another smaller channel I know only too well the kick in the nuts when a video you really put a lot of work in to doesn't perform well.
There's one more reason someone can be an Atek: They're too poor to pay for the constant upgrades. I remember a news story from the original Human Sphere book, I think, that reported that some Ateks were killed in an accident caused by their driving into a roadside construction hole because they were unable to read the Augmented Reality warning signs of the road construction ahead. Truly Black Mirror stuff before Black Mirror was even a thing.
I think the changes to fire teams are an overcorrection. It’s now almost impossible to do multiple wounds to a model in ARO without an SWC weapon. That means a corner guard is practically useless. And NWI or two wound model practically can’t be stopped from getting into the back line, if it only faces one ARO before it gets there. I think this is going to be the hard-core alphas, strike edition
@@pkranger1997 tough time for Winterfor then. But in all seriousness, slicing the pie will still exist. Why would I ever take 2 AROs if I don’t have to?
Why is O-12 always the one being skipped or brushed over? It’s not like there’s nothing to say, the generic army has seen a lot of changes with the addition of TL units. TL was design for N5 and adapted for N4, might be some change in profil, etc. I really don’t get why content creators seem to have such disdain for this faction.
great video and recap on the upcoming armies and models. I will write this once. Indians are too big of a group to just call them that. PanO has Sikhs, which is a religious group primary from India but all over the world. ALEPH, more specificallyy OSSS, has Hindu, which is what people think of as "Traditional" Indians. it is semantics but is leaves out a good amount of lore and depth to the armies.
Thanks for the insightful comment i think there is still some depth to add to what youve said. Aleph doesnt drawn from people to make its regiments, its largely, created opterators and it co-opts thier names. We see this with the Ank group as well. Your right as well it draws from hinduism which some people do short hand to Indian. Also yeah pano does have sikhs as seen in shock army, but pano controls/ is influenced by the entire indian subcontient. When i said indian it was like saying europeans to discribe where uhlans come from (poland). Looking into it further at the Lore: the Hetkari shooters are drawn from the Konkani people from western Indian in a call back to the the Hetkari musketeers of the Maratha Army. This is a really cool piece of historical inspiration i love about corvus belli.
My main faction is tohaa. Then aleph and finally combined army. Right now... as things sit... I am glad I am not dropping infinity from my hobby. If tohaa had been abandoned I would have just quit. The aleph info we have gotten looks more like an osss offering pretending it is vanilla aleph. Losing Achilles sucks... but he is out of print and it's been what an entire edition? I'm not happy about it but from a faction loss and company product sales stand point. It is not that bad... Combined army... ummm okay.... I would have rather seen onxy get nuked and rolled into the new vanilla... then look at doing a proper exarch faction update. Picking up Achilles is a okay? Whatever you could have just changed the umbra profiles and left Achilles in aleph no harm no fowl.
Decided on playing MO, love the knight theme.
The KCF Tik Duos will be Fun! Thank you for consolidating this all together!
Sound vid! And a long one at that, kudos on making it and a good summation of what's going to happen in Infinity going into N5.
They were originally going to drop the Tohaa but players voices kind of rose up and changed their mind

Swings and roundabouts as they say. With caledonia atleast you'll have the prettiest kosmoflot army lol
@ also will have to see how vanilla plays. I wasn’t the most competitive with them so maybe the fireteams and focusing of the roster will help me?
I appreciate the effort you've put in here. As another smaller channel I know only too well the kick in the nuts when a video you really put a lot of work in to doesn't perform well.
I appreciate that! It really sucks when you put in alot of effort and just not one is interested
Nice job with the video.
Thanks!

The new superjump lets you change direction mid jump

I think we'll need to wait and see but i think more camo/HD aro pieces will probably help deal with it.

Fair. I am hoping they reduce alphas in some way

I do apologise I've skipped this but I ran out of time with scripting and from what I could find from o-12 stuff it was largely the just the firebat

PanO has sikhs as units but in the lore all of India became a part of Panoceania before planetary exodus.
