Yes! Hyped about every upload Doug! Got into Infinity during lockdown and decided to hold off buying the core rules until N4 drops. Really appreciate every bit of lore you put out.
The thing I love about Aleph is do to most of its troupes being remotes it means that you can use all these hacking programs to buff them of make them do unexpected things!
Another great video, it gives a very good introduction to Aleph (one of the three factions I play), expecially its main core of "helping humanity while still retaining its agenda", which makes it both a good guy and a villain at the same time. I hope to see more about its sectorials in future videos ^^. As for the gaming part, I play mostly the Steel Phalanx sectorial, because I think they are the perfect blend of the artificial and human element, since they have been created thanks to one of humanity's greatest literary works and precisely because they don't think as a cold calculating machine will. Although I wouldn't mind playing also the OSS models, they look great and they have a Ghost in the Shell vibe that I really appreciate. As for my favourite model, they are two because I view them as connected: Achilles and the Myrmidons. They are the reason I started Aleph and they are brutal on the battlefield, expecially in close combat. Anyway, you did another very good job, keep up the good work ^^.
Thanks for this. Just finally got around to starting with Infinity, and I am going to start with Aleph. Partially because I think the minis are the best sculpts. I like the idea of sentient machines or cyborgs trying to reconcile the fixed mission of protecting humanity and the human tendancy to consider all things, beauty, work, nature, technology.
Aleph is by far my favourite faction. They almost have all the gadgets that are available in the game. Of course that comes with a price. For example, every other faction has cheap long range guys. Not Aleph. Everything is a bit more pricey because you get a little bit more. For the price often a bit too squishy. So you need to make the best out of it. I spent double the time in my Aleph lists than in other lists... And I love the Greek and IDK "Buddhist" themes they have
Great video, and hits everything I love about Infinity's best (and only 😉) AI. As to my favourite unit, that has to be Post Humans. Everything from the minis, to the gameplay to the very concept of Post Humanity, jumping around from Proxy to Proxy cheating death everytime. There are other great troops I love, like the Asura (basically a Terminator who hacks as well as she kills) and the Dakinis and Garudas (combat REM bots, basic but amazing at what they do), but nothing screams ALEPH to me like Post Humans do 😊
Hi just an ideia, you should try to use images more related to the faction being speak of, tehre are plenty out there and maybe put some characters images too. Great video :)
Using your vids for a refresh on Infinity lore. Great run through, thanks! Quick note - seems that this Aleph vid is not a part of your Infinity Lore playlist. Also, are you intending to do more of these?
Well I wasnt really planning on it, to be honest. I was REALLY hoping that I'd be all in on this current edition... but I still find it so hard to learn that I kind of moved away :/
@@2Tough Sorry to hear that! Have not really gotten into 40K or AoS myself as yet. Will keep an eye on your channel in case it changes either way. Thanks for the response!
I find the ttrpg books are really good for combining the lore all into one place edit: i love aleph because it is basically friend-computer from paranoia but not completely insane... yet
You didn't mention the Recreations. Artificial construct clones of humanities legendary warriors: Achilles, Joan of Arc, Sun Tzu, Saladin, Miyamoto Musashi, and of course, William Wallace, who went rogue and is now a loyal Caledonian Ariadnan.
oh there's a whole heck of a lot I didn't mention, but making videos into easily digestible formats that build on one another is kinda my thing :) Thank you for watching!
I love the idea of the efficient, benevolent, and immortal dictator. But I really love the fact that my army is made up of "little girls" who are a match for the big burly guys in heavy armour.
I had only read it from the rulebook, then heard another channel pronounce it this way. 🤔GW and Para Bellum have both gotten better about adding phonetic spelling to their announcements, I'd like to see more of it!
Well, I follow this channel ONLY because of Infinity, as I stopped playing all GW games about a decade ago. Diversity is great, and helps channels grow :)
Describing Aleph for 12 minutes without saying Neuromancer or Bladerunner is quite a feat.
Haha!
When will the subfactions of Infinity videos come out? I'm curious how they fit into the greater factions as a whole.

Thank you for the video! I think it would be good to add this to yours Infinity Lore Playlist

Hay Doug you should check out the Infinity Roleplay Game that came out a couple of year ago. It’s an excellent resources. There is even an Aleph book.
I think all the factions have books now if i am not mistaken

Thanks for the video! I am actually gearing up to play the RPG and these videos are great.
Great stuff! I love the Infinity videos, can't wait for more.
I think the ancient 'greek' and 'roman' themes within the faction are a neat twist.
Awesome work, like always :)

I keep going back and forth on collecting Aleph... Because my brain keeps going to making them "Alf" themed...

There are tons of pictures out there but the real issue is resolution. Not every pic looks good in this format. Thank you for watching!
This was really good, just listened to all of these, can't wait til you make the vid on the Tohaa!!!

I play O.S.S - a pretty elite Aleph sectorial!
Costly to buy models or in points?
@@simbobcrafts4843 in points
haha, Aleph actually created "space marines" that are good guys.
Nice, the vid is not in the Infinity Lore playlist for info ^^
Can ypu please make a Playlist for infinity? The lack of a Playlist makes it more difficult than necessary
I find the ttrpg books are really good for combining the lore all into one place

:O Keep up good work! Well done.
And... best Aleph troop is broken into pieces.
- TAK player :]

chatgpt in a few years?
why does everyone pronounce it "AY-leph?" It's "Ah-leph" or "Alef"
I had only read it from the rulebook, then heard another channel pronounce it this way. 🤔GW and Para Bellum have both gotten better about adding phonetic spelling to their announcements, I'd like to see more of it!
Infinity? Theres enough content with aos and 40k. If your scope expands too much notifications go off.
Bye

That's true. Doug should give up on 40k.
I'm so happy he's branched away from AoS and 40k. They're the gateway to the hobby but definitely not the best systems
