Hi everyone, there is a LIVE Panel Discussion TOMORROW (Oct 21st, 2020 at 10 am EDT), in collaboration with #HirehigherEd! Topic: Time is Money RSVP link: shoutout.wix.com/so/96NKzjV6s#/main Submit a question for a chance to win a 30-minute 1:1 consultation with one of the speakers (including me)!
Same with the music. I used to be able to have something tuneful in the background, but these days I find that distracting. Definitely agree with the alpha ways - I find it calms my mind and helps me to focus much better when reading or writing. 📚
Thank you so much for this point. True that these habits are productivity habits. So in general sense, these could be instilled in high schoolers so they will end up achieving their greatest potentials :)
2:42 Omg, Vera! You're scared of tomatoes?! ;) :D I really love them, the alarm doesn't even get me out of the drive. Usually I just reset asap and continue while in the flow! 5:56 So effective to focus, having those tunes in your ears. 7:04 AMEN! Great overview! PS: Have been exploring Inkscape too, a.o. for vectorizing logos ;)
I know, I tried Pomodoro after watching one of your videos, I guess everyone has a different threshold. My phone is almost ALWAYS on silence mode, perhaps that is a bad thing to get used to. Great to know you like the Alpha Wave music, I honestly don't know if my brain wave is any difference, but I feel great when working with these tunes (I hope there is no side effects!)
Hey thanks for commenting, I have also just subscribed to your channel! Feel free leave me any questions related to research and perhaps we could collaborate in the future!
