Shelton never getting that main event push is one of the biggest injustices in the wrestling history
Lack of personality, poor on the mic and was never truly over with the crowd despite his great in ring ability. Unbelievable wrestler but sadly not an amazing entertainer

Simple fix for not being good on the mic would've been to give him a manager nobody ever said Brock was good on the mic lol😂
It's a shame he didn't have a proper chance to shine as a World Champion for once at least. After all those years he still is in a phenomenal shape, a pure athlete.
If they would’ve given him a manager (like a Tazz, Paul Heyman, etc) he could’ve had his time. Like in 2006 instead of making WWECW & managing Big Show, imagine if Heyman managed a heel Shelton Benjamin & a heel Bobby Lashley on SmackDown.
Prime Shelton Benjamin was and still is the most physically gifted wrestler I’ve ever seen with his speed,agility, and strength…. Wish he would’ve gotten an opportunity to win money in the bank back in the day, and hold the belt for a bit.
Other than Brock Lesnar, Prime Shelton was the other big guy who could do anything. And Lesnar and Shelton trained together, are great friends.
Shelton's match with Michaels was circa 05/06 was beautiful from start to finish. I wish he got a bigger push.
Shelton was truly better than 100 of the most amazing wrestlers in the industry combined. Legends like Kurt angle and Brock lesnar both talk extremely high of Shelton Benjamin’s breathtaking athletic skills and unbelievably amazing wrestling abilities 😎🤗

All Shelton ever needed was a permanent manager to be his mouth piece.
The only thing that ever held Shelton back and I'm saying this objectively, not from a standpoint of negativity - He was a mush mouth when cutting promos.
I always thought he should've been an Paul Heyman guy.
He would've benefited from having someone like D-Low Brown speaking for him. That's why as a fan I was stoked to see MVP take up that role with the Hurt Business.
The best way to have gotten Shelton over was to have him stand up to Brock Lesnar with their known history, as well as his amateur back ground building up to an Eddie Guerrero type victory,, which I'm sure Lesnar would've gladly put him over.
You can NEVER find ANY dirt on Benjamin's name! His only problem was that he didn't have many people around on his level. His mic skills aren't the best but he's definitely A+ in every category.
Mic skills is the most important category.

Shame he never held a major title
All of the class of 2002 were pushed to the moon except for Shelton. If Shelton was given a manager (and not his mom) he’d be main event. Shelton was not a super hero or cartoon character. He was a prime athlete. One of the best to step foot in the ring.

I think WWE should be arrested for not giving Shelton Benjamin a World Title run during his 1st run there. Imagine him as WWE Champion during his Gold Standard run in 2008. Seriously, one of the best wrestlers I've ever seen in my life. Shame on WWE for capitalizing on his momentum.
