Yes. Shelton was and still is incredible. I firmly believe that if Brock had not left in 04, stayed longer and gained more favor with management, Shelton and Brock would’ve been in a faction together. Both would have Heyman as their mouthpiece, negating the one short coming in Sheltons game.
They could have dominated, and eventually split, maybe with Heyman sticking with Shelton since Brock was Brock and didn’t need to speak much. Then they fued over the title, possibly with a blow off at Mania. I think there’s an alternate universe out there somewhere that Shelton is a multi time champion.

Can you imagine if Brock hit it CLEAN during WM19. Insanity.
And it would be a honor to be trained by Shelton Benjamin.
I tried to get into the business years ago. (I have a different look being Chinese, Japanese and Hawaiian) UPW (Cena was the Prototype there) accepted me but the 9-11 tragedy stopped the move in 2001. Had a match with Yuji Nagata and another with Dragon Gate. Did a Chikara event with Generico, Fire Ant, Eddie Kingston and others. Teddy Hart moonsaulted on my head. Almost had a match with AJ Styles. My FCW tryout was with AJ Lee and Adam Rose. I even got to do a promo in front of the Legendary Dusty Rhodes. I had a smackdown tryout where I helped a run in with Matt Hardy. It was a short run but my regrets are not getting to meet and learn from all of the wrestlers from that time.
Much love to everyone on their path. I hope you get farther than me.

I was about 5 feet away and was going to ask for an autograph. Out of nowhere a security guard for the event came up to me and said, “I thought I told you to get out of here! LEAVE.” I’ve never seen this guard before in my life and I just got in the parking lot. Brock was just staring at me and there was people on a ledge about 10 feet away laughing at the guard scolding me. 😂 Mind you this was an open parking lot to everyone, this wasn’t some VIP entrance or something. I have this friend, 5 ft tall, Goldilocks look. She told me in her words " I met this guy UFC wrestler so scary, he is so big like a gorilla, all the men didnt want to approach him, is he any good, got an autograph for me bro, i took a picture with him n said nice to see u n smile" I saw the pic and it was brock Lesnar . So jealous n was like holy shit.

Shelton deserved so much better than the WWE. THEY DID NOT DESERVE THIS MAN. I have a feeling if UFC was around the time he was in his prime and decided to go that route he would’ve been world renowned. I’m glad he did what he did, but it will forever leave a bad taste in my mouth knowing this is one of the most underrated and flat out disrespected athletes ever in professional wrestling.

The ufc was around when he was in his prime. It wasn't as big as it is now, having to deal with politicians trying to shut them down, and when it was trying to revamp under Dana White and the Fertitta brothers, but he definitely could have given it a run. worldwide, mma was still big. Especially in Japan.

That could have easily been Lesnar if he had trained for 2004. But make no mistake about it, Angle’s one of the greatest sport wrestlers this country has ever produced. The fact he won a gold medal with a broken neck tells you that

So underused & underappreciated. The bad part of sports entertainment is gyys like Shelton get passed over. For a promo or a stupid story line. Benjamin/ Haas were very good and with Angle was even better. Shelton is a gifted talent and WWE totally overlooked that.

I always felt WWE never used Sheldon or Mark Henry right. Sheldon had the skill set, athleticism, and amateur pedigree to be just as successful as Kurt Angle. And they should have used Henry as a legit unstoppable force, the guy was the legit strongest human being on Earth for Christ's sakes. Yet they had him actually losing a match to Hornswaggle. The thing most people get wrong is, Brock's shooting star press wasn't botched because he was heavier than his OVW days. He missed it because Angle was too far away.
A foot closer and that would've been perfectly nailed on.

I remember being in the back seat of a car with him trying to get some random GPS map working on my phone, and he's just smiling in the other seat while I stress about not getting the GPS right before switching over to Google Maps. So, can confirm, if he likes you he's super nice!
