I am a Filipino but never had the chance to tour around the Philippines like you do. Thank you for the virtual tours Kumander. I really really really love your vlogs! ❤❤❤
Thank you KD. As an ordinary Filipino, I do not have the strength and resources to be able to see these remote wonders of The Philippines. Now with you, am teary eyed for the content of your videos, so touching! My knowledge of Philippine Geography, Culture, Food and her diverse people is being polished by your informative video content. Cheers to another awesome entertainment. 🤩🤩🤩
Yes adding my thanks. I always enjoy the videos but this one was very moving to me. For some reason I also got teary…I didn’t know quite why?! Then I read your comment & so I don’t feel strange! I do have relatives not originally from Isabella but moved there years ago from Ilocos Sur. In the “mainland” though. I especially loved -out of order- the family b4 the plane ride, the priest, the daughter of Kuya Boy & somehow how he introduced her -“this is my daughter, my youngest.” I think he said. He seemed pleased for you all to meet. Proud of her Im guessing. The trike ride. The church. The blue lagoon. The aerial views. Well everything. But the priest cracked me up with all his questions. It IS cultural. No offense meant I write this with a smile & love, but I often felt my Philippine relatives were very intrusive with strangers! Lol. It was always “how old are you? Are you married? Are you going to college? Don’t live together b4 marriage…”. 🙊🙈
If KD Anselm sees this please excuse my forwardness. I am still newish but I know you keep your art & work separate from your private life as much as you are able. But I also follow your wife, so I do see those precious aspects of your life too, a bit. You could’ve said to Father when he asked your religion, oh Father you will be glad to hear I’m married to one of your flock & also raising a wee Catholic. Though I’m not sure L is baptized, I suspect she is, just from following N. In any case, it is not your job to please others but I know that would’ve made the friendly & welcoming Father very happy…..
Mahalo for the style of video's. It is nice to see someone highlighting areas of the Philippines not mainstream by other bloggers. Also love the historical context that you tie in to the areas you visit.
Thanks for coming to Isabela, mate. Come back anytime. You know you will always have a home in Aurora. Will visit you in Davao when I get back to the Philippines. Hope to meet your wife and kiddo soon! We are grateful for your visit and can't thank you enough for featuring our province. Most Isabelinos have never seen the coastal part of Isabela and through your videos, I hope the government can appreciate Isabela more and put more funding towards it. Isabela is rich in culture, history and beautiful untouched nature. Salamat ha! Balik ka ulit. Bring the whole gang next time. 😄😄😄😄 We will make you some Ilocano tupig. ( grilled rice cake with coconut) 👍👍😁😁
Be careful what you wish for. If it's my choice, I'd rather let the place as it is. Virgin, unexplored, natural scenery intact and untouched, gives more value to the rest of the Philippines.
@@michaelamontemayor448 I totally agree with you as per preserving the Philippines and keeping it untouched but also, progress is good.. It's incredible that such a blue color at the Blue Lagoon occurs naturally. That is such an amazing sight. Old Capan is spectacular! I hope you'll spend a little more time there when you return from Palanan.

I flew into Wyoming once on a twin prop plane like that 10 seater. The landing made it the scariest flight of my life. We had to make multiple attempts because the wind kept blowing us off course, but on the third attempt we touched down. It was the only flight where I felt like I was legitimately in danger of crashing.
Wonderful vlogging very educational indeed you are the epitome of of being anAmbassador of goodwill amongst Filipinos be safe and will pray for your daily journey so proud of our sense of hospitality happy cheers 🌷🌷🌷
I took that same flight back in 1999 and 2000 to film a documentary there. The runway was still dirt back then. If it rained, there was no chance of landing. During one of the flights, the pilot mentioned that the governor of the province had died in a plane crash on the same course. A helicopter was sent in to retrieve the bodies and it also crashed. My pilot joked that the governor died twice. Not what you want to hear flying over the Sierra Madre 😜

KD, the vibe of the place is so peaceful, and the locals are friendly. I just love provincial settings where people are respectful and thankful for venturing their town, esp a person like ur'self.
