The tempo is slower than any other performance that I have heard. At first I thought to myself what was going on, why it was playing so slow! But after a few minutes I realized I was listening to it more attentively. This version has you go to more details of the music. And definitely is FEMININE. I love this one the best so far. I got here via video with a broken string when playing Wieniawski's Polonaise. I don't quite like this interpertation of this Symphonie, but I must say - lightness and charm in your play are outstanding. I feel the energy coming from your fingers through the violin and it's really amazing. Keep playing like that, you really are one hell of the solist. Greetings from Poland! :)

While that is disrespectful, that is not entirely inaccurate. I feel like the lack of spicatto in the first movement definitely does create a different feeling in the concerto. Instead of feeling energetic, it feels more happy and proud. Overall, amazing projection, and brilliant performance with a very interesting interpretation.
